Allblitz, unless you are prepared to go up to NSW and beat $650 out of him, or unless he decides to give it back, you have no hope of getting it back.

Just put it down to experience and use COD in future.

To the other knob who said he would be more suspicious of COD - are you a complete idiot or what? Do you even know what COD is? The fact that you have done 50+ transactions and not been ripped off means that you have been lucky dealing with honest people.

COD isn't exactly foolproof - got burnt once years ago with that. Technically they aren't allow to let you inspect/open the package prior to paying the dosh and it is not Aust Post's business if you get screwed. However, some post office might not be so anal about it and let you pop it open..it's all depends where you are really so it pays to be friendly with your local post office.

Also, their insurance exlusion list is growing too so becareful what you're sending thru them as it might not be covered in case of damage.

That information is easy to get.

Now post up hes recent transactions and account balance

im not trying to see who can or cant get more info all i was doing is my bit to help.

it might of been easy to get but im sure you know that passing this kind of information is a against the private policy act.

us sydney people are "ungrateful arrogant pricks " but we do what we can . Even if it dosnt seem like helping at the time.

Allblitz , sorry that i cant help any further but im sure with a bit of persistence it will work out for you.

not sydney people....just you....sorry allbitz...looks like every man for himself

yeah allright mate you have made your point i apologized and more then alot of people got there money back as did i , the others flooded in way after if you want to be SAU's saviour by all means i wont be in the way but i rekon im over it so should you be. we are hijacking this guy's threads with your personal vendetta against me , why because i spoke my mind that is all . sorry if you didnt like what i said but there isnt much that can be done about it now . What you planning to do scope all the post i make and come up with something where you can throw the "i dont take things lying down" bit ?

Sorry for being so late with this, but I've had no net for 3 days (thanks Telstra/iinet...). Anyway, I've driven past the place a few of times now and each time there's been no lights on at all. So I have no idea whether or not someone lives there, or if the guy just happens to be off somewhere else whenever I'm there (or this thread has him shitscared and he lives with his lights off now).

Cheers,

Michael

PS No stakeout photos guys, sorry :)

    • I don't. I mean, mine's not a GTR, but it is a 32 with a lot of GTR stuff on it. But regardless, I typically buy from local suppliers. Getting stuff from Japan is seldom worth the pain. Buying from RHDJapan usually ends up in the final total of your basket being about double what you thought it would be, after all the bullshit fees and such are added on.
    • The hydrocarbon component of E10 can be shittier, and is in fact, shittier, than that used in normal 91RON fuel. That's because the octane boost provided by the ethanol allows them to use stuff that doesn't make the grade without the help. The 1c/L saving typically available on E10 is going to be massively overridden by the increased consumption caused by the ethanol and the crappier HC (ie the HCs will be less dense, meaning that there will definitely be less energy per unit volume than for more dense HCs). That is one of the reasons why P98 will return better fuel consumption than 91 does, even with the ignition timing completely fixed. There is more energy per unit volume because the HCs used in 98 are higher density than in the lawnmower fuel.
    • No, I'd suggest that that is the checklist for pneumatic/hydraulic adjustable systems. I would say, based on my years of reading and complying with Australian Standards and similar regulations, that the narrow interpretation of Clause 3.2 b would be the preferred/expected/intended one, by the author, and those using the standard. Wishful thinking need not apply.
    • Yes they do. For some maybe. But for those used the most by abusers, ie Skylines, the numbers are known. The stock eyebrow height for R32/3 Skylines is about 365/375mm or thereabouts. The minimum such heights are recorded in adjacent columns in the database.
    • Hmmm, interesting. Makes me wonder whether there is bias as well. It's the cheapest fuel, so it is used for all kinds of ill-maintained shitboxes which are bound to have issues regardless. Nicer cars tend to require higher octane rated fuel and can't use it anyway. FWIW, the official NSW E10 facts page is decent.
