I hate the torana look? low front end but it's ass up in the air looking like it someones b*tch:D

Sounds like it's pretty sweet though! might be worth it WA boys! with all this talk of doing better quarter miles with standard engines this might help!

Doesn't do a thing to the appearance mate. Nor does it negatively affect the handling, if anything it improves the handling. It's something Nissan should have done from factory.

Any of yo boys buying some? I haven't got a credit card as yet Beleive it or not Oh the shame... Am applying for 1 soon though :-)

If any of you boys do can i drop round and give you my money to order another with with your set?

If it decreases wheelspin I am in!

One more question however... I have one of the most stiffest rides ever created... will the pineapple make it more stiffer?

.....I am talking about the car by the way!:(

As rev210 said won't look any different...

As for payment... I'm not a business so I don't take credit cards, all I'm doing is taking the money to make a big order for big discount.... I've done it before and mad some people very happy... so now I'm doing it again....

E-Mail me if you want to place an order

If you're talking about installing them in the neutral postion, then yeah, subframe compliance is a bad, bad thing and pineapples are a big help.

In the drag position though, the rear is slightly higher and its not all that great for handling. The height increase is not noticable from outside but when driving it, you can feel the higher rear end. Theres more conering grip but It feels more ponderus around corners (slower reacting to changes in direction) and unpredicatable at the limit. Had a close call one night around some twisties (aw11 will attest), same ones I used to take at the same speed without problems previously.

In any case, on advice from Jim at Whiteline, I changed the bushes over to neutral setting for a cone dodging event and haven't looked back since. When I go to the drags, its a simple matter to change the position of the bushes, just need a friend, an hour and some beers.

So yeah, Nissan designed the R32/R33/S13/Z32 subframe to be anti-squat for a reason, drag racing wasn't on their list of things to do.

I took out the front section on mine, I have only got the rear on.

I think the unpredictable part is more HICAS than pineapples, granted they might make matters worse in 'drag' position, I'm not too sure having only half installed.

and me and jimih as the last 2 sets in the 5 :(

s13 and r32

oscar if we give u the money in cash do u want to chuck our contribution in your cheque/money order??

if someone else was here first for that 5 then sorry, we'll just go in the next group and u go in this one :)

osc@r & psiko: E-Mail me and I'll give you my account details for direct deposit, all you need to do is go to a challenge bank or net banking and deposit it in, then I'll place the order... I'm doing them in minimum orders of 5, so you guys will get some almost straight away... it takes 1 day to get to me and 2 days to get to you by express post....

    • Pressure when IDLING, is meant to be 51PSi... So that amperage value needs to go up a fair chunk... I'd personally be factoring for more like 12amp at least on those runs, and at that point you need to hope the already there wiring doesn't drop you a volt or two, as that's a lot of fuel pressure flow drop off from 13.5 to 12V! Taking idle pressure of 51psi, means the pump will be drawing a MINIMUM of 9amps all the time based on your reading of the graph (3bar base, then allowing an extra 0.5bar for boost = roughly 51psi)
    • Hi all,  I am in the market for an R200 longnose diff out of a Z31 300ZX, or S12 RSX, DR30 skyline, or similar, in a 3.9 ratio.  Preferably a late model one with the M12 crownwheel bolts.  The only easy to find advert for one of these was my ad back in 2007 when I sold it on this forum.  I sold the diff as I had sold the car it goes to, but as it turns out, after 18 years I got the car back late last year, so now I'm looking for the diff !  If anyone knows where to find a longnose R200 LSD with the M12 crownwheel bolts, drop me a line at [email protected] - Bonus paid if soomeone comes up with the original diff (stranger things have happened !).  Cheers   Ben D
    • Hi everyone, I used to post here a bit from 2004-2013, when I owned various Nissans, in particular my S12 RSX gazelle, which was sold in 2007.  As luck would have it, after an 18 year hiatus, the car found its way back to me last year, and over the past 11 months I have had the pleasure of restoring it with my kids.  One thing that I am after in particular is a 3.9 ratio R200 LSD for it.  I actually sold the one out of the car here back in 2007 , and it would be incredible if I could track down who I sold it to, so I can see how they have progressed over the years (and to be honest, to see whether I can get the diff back !).  Anyways, hi all and let me know "where are the R200 Longnose diffs all at these days ?  Cheers Ben D
    • Arms will be the same as the G35 or 350Z, but as above, there was a change in the lower control arm where it connects to the ball joint.  That said, you can remove the ball joint cone from your old ball joints and fit them to the new ball joints.  To be honest, I didn't think the ball joints themselves were different. The main ball joint is a bit awkward to replace, you really need to remove the steering knuckle to press out the old one.  Some people have used tools to remove it in place, but it just seemed too hard to get to. If you are going to press out/in that ball joint, then you may as well just replace the bushings in the LCA and the compression rod.  You can buy the compression rod bushing from Nissan, but the LCA bushes, you will need to go aftermarket. Much cheaper than buying the whole arm.
    • Ha, well, it's been.... a bit of a journey. Things have taken much longer than I'd hoped. I'll probably put up a thread at some stage. Hopefully soon. The car's not done any kms since my update in June though, put it that way.
