where to buy mesh?

Need to buy some mesh. Went to autobarn but they only had this ugly chunky stuff. Looking for a finer style for my bar and grille.

anyone reccomend somewhere to get it from?

I bought mine from a metal fabrication company, its called expanded Aluminum mesh cost me $6 for a 500 X 500 off cut and it is the fine stuff. I was stoked! from autobarn they wanted $48 for a 500 by 200 piece can stick that were it fits. If you get into a bind and cant find any, let me know and I will see what I can do..

dude, i want some of that aluminium mesh hook me up with an offcut... also do you know any tanneries that can get me an offcut of sum leather, like 1m square offcuts?

lol jus did an armspan check, halve that size for the amount I need

I have a piece of fine stuff at home at the moment what size do you need its about 300 X300 can have it for $4 plus postage I will take a picy of it.

Got a price for anyone, small mesh 1200 X 900 $50 a sheet

larger mesh 2400 X 1200 $230 a sheet. they do cut to size

Dont know what postage would cost for somthing that size,could be a bitch. Will work it all out on Thursday might need to cut down to usable size.

Measured the offcut and it was 400 X 400 and as said it was a piece laying around so got it cheap (very Cheap. I know if I got 4 X 400 X400 peice it would only cost $24 and measure the same or more than a complete sheet) The fifty dollar piece is 1.2 meters by 900 which is probably a little big for most people. Anyway get back to you all on Thursday after I actualy go to them and see what they have, I dont believe anyone anymore until I see and have the goods in my posetion...

It is good quality and is rigid if you hold it by one end it does not bow.

There's a place in Melbourne named Lockers, they do the expanded sheet but in large sheets only. Looks and feels exactly like the stuff the GTRs come with in their bar. Various sizes.
