predator
Continuation of the other thread about GTR bonnets.. well I have found a couple so far.. dspeed.co.jp - bit like a R33 GTR grille without the center piece. The tommy kaira one.. which forms part of the front bar.. hmm, they've just meshed it black behind, maybe I should do that "Border" front bar, with grille. Anybody have any other grille options for R32, other than factory GTR style? CerealKiller
there's this one which I like. Not sure of what it is but it's nice and simple... edit: I think it's a little like the R33 grill Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/71604-r32-aftermarket-grilles/#findComment-1320258 Share on other sites
pentae
screw styling, pred.. spending $300+ on some front bar could go towards performance mods. paint your bonnet lever black (and anything else you can) and go for some black mesh and your stylin' for less than 25 bucks. masTers
That TK grille is hot. Ive been looking for a grille like that for quite some time, i think i'll just get my vertex bar modded to suit the GTR bonnet. See how things go Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/71604-r32-aftermarket-grilles/#findComment-1320299 Share on other sites
predator
pentae: yup, thats probably what I'm going to do, but hey, is interesting to see what else is available Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/71604-r32-aftermarket-grilles/#findComment-1320669 Share on other sites
predator
Well I had a bit of a go at building my own yesterday, in similar style to the TK grille above. Doesn't look too bad if you ask me (car is filthy.. damn spot rain!).. The only thing I'm not happy about is that the mesh I got isn't as fine as I would have liked.. so sometime I'll try and track down some finer mesh. Painted the latch black, and the mesh also, and made up a couple of brackets. Forgot to paint the screws, will do that soon.
