hey guys, i'll be getting my r32 gts-t tommorow and registering the day after!

okay, gimmie some tips on what the first things i should do to it.

starting with the stuff i can do on the first day in the garage, and then stuff that involves money.

e.g. reset ecu, gut the cat, get small gap plugs... etc.

then up the exhaust, slap on a boost controller... etc.

currently, its a red r32 gts-t, gtr front kit (400r style) and side skirts, adjustable suspension front and rear, strut braces back and front, modded exhaust system (but not big enough or loud enough for my liking :D), hks air filter... and the rest is stock.

i'll post up some pictures very very soon! (good way for me to test out my new phone - GD88 digital camera phone.

its about time! SKYLINE BABY YEAH! :(:)

edit: *bloody phone almost cost me as much as the car!!

hahaha yeh, i was waiting ages for my compliance plate to arrive...

yu'll need the compliance plate for registration yeh...

for rego, they'll need:

the vehicle itself for inspection and VIN number

RWC

engineers report/compliance

import approval papers or previous registration details

btw, what'd u get?

    • I think he was only proposing to use the wire, not the sender. Simply because it runs from the right place to the right place. Personally, I wouldn't hack up the factory wiring like that. I'd just lay in the Defi loom.
    • From memory it wasn't too hard to simply see which wire ran where when you plug that in. Unfortunately also from memory the OEM sender does not use the same configuration 99.9% of gauges run. So in other words if you connect the signal wire that was running to the OEM gauge to your DEFI gauge you might find your oil reads at 200C or some other incorrect value. I remember having the same line of thought and then running new wires/senders to match the gauges I have. The pinout is available in the R34 workshop manual.
    • Does anyone on here know which wire on the GTT triple gauge pod harness is for the oil temp gauge? my sensor works fine but I upgraded the gauges to DEFI advance. And if I can simply piggyback off the oem oil temp wire to the Defi oil temp sensor wire that would make life so much easier.
