I thought I would steal Fast Fours idea and put up a Kill Stories thread on Skylines Australia too A place to post your recent kill stories. Private property of course Just had some mad fun up and down the Great Western Raceway (GWR). Came across a silver 89 model predule with a stainless exhaust tip and black rims (had a G.P.C. performace sticker on the back??) Didn't think too much of it, gave it a boot and to his credit the thing went pretty good, only had him buy about 2-3 car lengths If anyone knows anything about this car then I would love to know what is done to it, it was chirping 3rds We had a couple of more races with the same results. Then we came across a blue Nissan Gazelle with a fugging huge front mount. Raced about 5 times and beat him every time, however he seemed to have huge top end cause I chopped him thorugh 1st and 2nd but he started pulling back in 3rd. Must of been an aftermarket turbo cause he was spooling like a bitch Anyway was a good night

Ticking sounds like the injectors, better to get it properly checked by a mechanic

why what did the integra do? I will be running at the next meet on the 13th

Mark, how are you dyno tuning it? You have a stock computer so what are going to tune?

I am also interested in the optimal tyre pressure for the strip

Where is the best/cheapest place to get them from? Preferably delivered to my door

Boost is a gift sent from god :D You will love it!!! When I went from stock boost to 11psi I thought all my dreams had come true! It totally changes the feel of your car When I first got my skyline I was a bit disappointed in its performance, but when I dialed up the boost I was really happy

Have you seen the differences on the dyno? Did the T3/T4 make more power then now?

I always ignore the km's that I see on an import car. Most of them are wound back. For instance my skyline says that it has 38,000 km's on the clock! Yeah right! I'd say more like 130,000 km's If the clock is say 160,000km's then I would be a little bit worried. But if you look at the condition of the seats, steerring wheel, door sills, etc, you should be able to roughly guess the wear and tear on the car.

You should check out the latest HPI magazine. It has a good guide of what to look for when buying a skyline

Brant have a good one, with 6 or 7 immobiliser points and a keypad pin number entry system.
