They reckon that its not the stud...... the guy said he has only ever seen 3 skylines with all studs intact So now I have it booked in to have a smoke test done.... There has to be a boost leak somewhere but I just can't find it I want my baby fixed

Ok I have a series 1 R33 GTS25T skyline I have a budget of $4k Already have a TRUST FMIC and exhaust... So now I need a BIG turbo Fuel Pump, etc... What turbo do you suggest i buy?

like a wooshing noise.... yeah the stud is broken so I will have to get that fixed.... Might have blown the gasket out

I have found a stud is broken off the exhaust manifold... Could this be the cause?

OK i did mine 2 weeks ago so I know the process...... -Once you have removed the NISSAN cover, undo the electrical plugs (one for each spark plug) -Take off the plug (just pulls off) -The you will be looking at the top of the spark plug. -In your socket set you will have a really big socket (i forget the size) and use the extension arm, put this socket over the spark plug and undo. - Be careful not to drop anything into the whole (do 1 plug at a time to avoid dropiing anything down there) - Get the new spark plug, screw it in (VERY TIGHT) - Put the plug back on - Continue. :D hope that helps

DOes my R33 GTS-T skyline even have a fuel light? I have never seen it come on.......

Just talking to a mechanic at croydon...... he said that oil in the bov is normal for the RB...... its not much........ just a little bit... If it was this then why is there boost leak noise?

OK I accelerate as normal.......... hits 3000rpm and starts to boost a little, then it sounds like a hair dryer in the bloody engine bay! It just sounds like its blowing! And the car is very sluggish on boost.... Now my first thought was boost leak.... checked it all over and it seems to be fine.... all hoses attached and the blowing is so loud that it wouldn't be a tiny split or hole in the hosing... So I thought maybe the bov (trust plumback) had farked up. Just changed it over and still the same problem. I did however notice a fair bit of oil inside the bov. So now I am stuck for ideas!
