  1. lol @ this thread.... good old skyline VS vette wars hehe please continue
  2. I went through the same decision, ended up getting a huge TRUST fmic I decided to go for the Jap R&D Its worth it dude It costs $2200 fitted
  3. Hmmmm very interesting.... Thanks guys
  4. Can you PM me why please
  5. The rear diff on a skyline will hold together at 500hp They are strong little buggers
  6. It "might" be do-able, but i would not!!!!!!! Please don't!!
  7. If you do that the ceramic blades will fly off straight through your cut and both your turbo and cat will be ****ED! Tell your friend to stop giving advice! Also any "boost cut" that you hit will be caused by the ECU not turbo! And that amount of boost might cause detonation which could **** your engine!
  8. Turbine Wheel - replaced and upgraded with a inconel(steel) wheel , either stage 1 or 2 Compressor Wheel - replaced and upgraded with T04 wheel, either stage 1 or 2 Bearing Pack - replace with an XTR ball bearing package Turbine Housing - machine to accept either of the larger wheels Compressor Housing - machined to accept either of the larger hi flow wheels Wastegate Actuator - standard or upgradeable to have higher boost pressure as standard.
  9. Thats incorrect.. You are not allowed to drive with them on
  10. Speak to GCG about efficient boost to run. A oil cooler is not a "necessity" it is more of a "nice" item. According to GCG you will need a - fuel regulator - fuel pump - fmic - aftermarket ecu - 3 inch exhaust
  11. FMIC.... all day everyday As pointed out for the reasons above.....
  12. lol It would be fun, but i hear the fines are pretty damn huge I wish they were legal
  13. that would be pretty damn cool hehe
  14. To install a new turbo, fuel pump, injectors and powerFC I was thinking croydon, or maybe ADVAN Anyone recommend them or another workshop? Syndey Area Thanks Ben
  15. Well how do they work? Is it just a dump pipe which vents straight to the atmo? I hear they are very very illegal I also heard that they shoot flames out the bottom of your car Anyone here got one?
  16. Willing to pay low $2k mark....
  17. I am actually looking into the same highflow option through GCG. However the info that I received from GCG is: If you are going stage 1 then you can bolt it straight on without changing anything else however this will not perform to its maximum efficiency. If you are going for stage 2 then you need to do fuel, fmic, computers, etc The standard size are 320cc i think, anything bigger will be better. i.e. 550cc would do the job nicely. You could also look at getting the injectors high flowed. You will also need a new computer. I see you already have a aftermarket computer so you will need to retune it. Hope this helps
  18. If I was you I would do front mount first. Becuase powerFC will cost you around $1600 (2nd hand) and then you will need $500 for tuning And then when you get the FMIC or any other major mod you will have to spend more $$ for retuning. So if you were to get the FMIC first the costs would be: FMIC $2000 PowerFC $1600 Tuning $500 Total $4,100 But if you got the powerFC and then FMIC later it would cost you: powerFC $1600 Tuning $500 FMIC $2000 Re-tuning $500 Total $4,600 See what I mean? Also you won't be able to get maximum tuning out of the powerFC because your stock cooler will be causing detonation due to high intake temps. Hope this helps
  19. Damn!!! Thats pretty f#cked up!!! Not happy!
  20. How many CC is this rated for? Is this an inline tank one? i.e. easy to installed, just replace current fuel pump?
  21. I am also interested in how much you can drive away with the base settings....
  22. I will be high flowing my injectors Got told about $100 per injector
  23. Yeah fuel cut of some sort, injectors maxing out maybe?
