hey guys, got two heads for sale. 1 DET and 1 DE, both from R33.

***both SOLD***

Location: South west Sydney Liverpool area.

DET Head:

Comes with inlet manifold, Fuel Rail and injectors, rocker covers, both cams and all sensors seen in pictures. Still assembled on block. Welcome to come n check $450

If u want the whole engine, take it...$550, low compression. Old engine from Swap. pics of engine are dirty cos of spilt oil from mechanics, spilt the tray down the side of it, cleanable.

Has done aprox 115,000km

***SOLD***

DE Head:

Comes with inlet manifold, Fuel Rail and injectors, rocker + coil covers, Loom + ECU, throttle body, coil packs + igniter module, CAS, both cams, extractors. might have missed some things, just check pics or PM for questions.

Only problem is, is that the cams have been removed, becos i was going to use the in cam for current engine, but then i couldn;t be bothered anymore, still included in the package tho, just have to get them put in again. No mechanical faults, did turbo engine conversion. $550

this is also still assembled to block, with all sensors and hoses etc still attached as seen in pictures. so take the whole thing for $650 if u like.

Has done approx. 78,000km

***SOLD***

Need to get rid of them to make room. so i really can;t be bothered to sell little bits and pieces, unless of cos i have enough people interested, so i can still get rid of the majority.

OK, thanks for reading.

got some prices for the shipping. its just that i;m unsure of how much the head weighs.

was told shouldn;t be that much cos its aluminum, mechanic said roughly 30-40kg, so i just got quotes for 50kg just in case for packaging etc, cheapest ones i found are.

air road direct

$116.20 WA, postcode 6000

$93.20 Melb, wasn;t sure of post code so i said 3000 metro area.

prices are for online booking n payment, so that is $22 discountd already

items will be picked up and delivered at given address

however items over 50kg and in metro areas will have extra charge of 24bux for lifting

PhillipsTransport

$120, for Melb. Will need to be picked up from their dispatch centre.

they were charged at flat rate for pallet space i think.

    • Have you done the Ignition Sync Wizard in the AEM software?
    • Find out what RPM it was idling at with the IACV unplugged. It's very weird that the rpm didn't change at all, and then it stalled. When it stalls is it nearly like a switch off, like you've turned the engine off? Or is it more stutters and sputters and coughs to death over a few seconds? Or does the RPM just slowly keep going down and down? Have you done a test of trying to start it with the AFM unplugged? Does it still die?     If you Follow Josh's advice on using Nistune to check the voltages (which is a perfect method!) if you see anything out of wack voltage wise, THEN get the multimeter out and read the voltage directly at the sensor. If the two vary, then you're now looking for a wiring issue vs a sensor issue. So be aware, what the ECU sees, may not be what the sensor is actually saying too...
    • You very likely need to get it on a dyno and tune it. My assumption is, you've got an RB25DET tune in it, which has a different manifold, different injectors, and different cams as a minimum. What O2 sensor are you running?   When you say it runs extremely rich from idle all the way to redline, is this just free revving it you see that?
    • I seem to the be only person that is using a Haltech 2500 on an NA motor, I've installed a Bosch DBW throttle body to the OEM intake manifold and am having problems maintaining AFR even with the wideband o2.  It will run extremely rich at idle and up to redline, but under load it will go extremely lean in the 20s and i'm essentially having to rev it over 4k and feather the clutch to get it up to speed.  I've read a few other threads of about the butterfly, it seems removing the vacuum to it is supposed to have it remain open, i've noticed no difference under 4k with the vacuum line to it plugged.  I'm hoping someone here has had luck using the NA manifold with Haltech, and if they happen to have a tune for it.
    • I don't know any details, but I really wouldn't be surprised if they do it as a LHD only version, at least initially.
