Nismo Blank Key for R34

Hey all,

Can you actually get a Nismo blank key cut for an R34 GTT?

ie. when using this key, will the factory immobiliser be disarmed?

or is the immboliser in the actualy key itself so this nismo key would be almost useless?

It seems like R34's don't have a chip inside, but towards the end of the post there are people who are talking about electronic key blanks?

Now i am confused, any R34 owners out there who can confirm this for me?

I don't think the gtt's have a chip in the key , i can tell you if i see the key .

The 34 gtrs have a chip in the key so if you want another key you have to get one from Nissan , have it cut then take it to them to program it .

They don't have a chip in the key. The electronic keys they are referring to are for the remote central locking.

yeah mine has the lock- unlock button on it , how would i get another one of these cut for mine ?

the r34s don't have an electronic security feature like that found in the commodre or ford, so a plain key will still open and close doors and allow you to drive. Unlocking the doors either by key or remote will still turn off the factory security features.
