2 days is nothing to worry about.

Chances are he will simply send it out.

Also with regards to the boost controller..

I found the adjustment to be a little bodgy as the top of the spring would often jam in to thread; I bent the top of the spring in slightly and now its extremely smooth and so much easier to adjust.

yeah i pulled mine apart and had a good look before using it. the cut end of the spring was ok in my case, but i can see how it might be a bit dodgy. i have adjusted it once and left it like that (fluked the correct setting first go).

here's a tip. if you want to install it at the least(stock) boost, tighten the nut just enough so when you blow thru the bottom nipple with your mouth, you can just get the air to come out the side nipple with quite a bit of blowing effort.

crap man i lost the ball when it fell apart trying to lower boost too much, it is gone, ive been trying to find a bearing or something of similar size with no luck,

i remember when i first read this thread and someone lost the ball and i was like ha what a dumbass but now i see lol

anyone have any luck replacing it?

Anyone have any ideas on what i can do to make it hold boost a little better ???

Hey all as per my post i think like 20 pages ago i managed to get mine working and it has been going strong alot better than my previous turbosmart pos. Anyways i have upped the boost to around what i thought was 11psi. After doing some high load runs i found that it was getting up to a max of 11.6psi at 4500rpm and then worked its way down gradually till 6800rpm when it was down to about 9.8psi. I have checked the lines and they are as straight and short as i can make them. Other than maybe trying to shield the BC from the engine bay heat do people have any other ideas on what i can do.

Summary is below

4500rpm - 11.6psi

5100rpm - 11.1psi

5700rpm - 10.7psi

6300rpm - 10.0psi

6900rpm - 9.8psi

PS i know it's a cheap boost controller and can't expect the world but 1.8psi is a fair drop.

Anyone have any ideas on what i can do to make it hold boost a little better ???

maybe its got something to do with your acuator.

Mine seems to hold boost fine. Unless the spring loses it's tension over time....??

Thats just my uneducated guess.

i set mine to 9.5 -10psi and when i come on boost hard the thing hits 11psi for a split second then sits on approx 9.5-10psi like i set it

anyone got a pic of the thing pulled apart? just want to see the size of the ball compared to the spring. need this guys i miss my boost, running on wastegate.

if you cut the spring, you just have to screw it in further, best mod for this controller is to remove all restrictors in the lines if there are any and have more pressure acting on it which makes it a bit more accurate. i put the flat end of the spring to the ball, as it seemed like something you didnt want to foul the movement of, as opposed to the bolt that stays still anyway.

bearing i found worked by the way, and i have 12 more here lol. as long as it fits in it will block the end

    • Welcome to Skyline ownership. Yes, it is entirely possible parts websites get things wrong. There's a whole world of inaccuracies out there when it comes to R34 stuff (and probably 33 and 32). Lots of things that are 'just bolt on, entirely interchangable' aren't. Even between S1 and S2 R34's. Yes they have a GTT item supposedly being 296mm. This is incorrect. I would call whoever you got them from and return them and let them know the GTT actually uses 310mm rotors. Depending on where you got them from your experience and success will obviously vary.
    • Hi...a bit a "development" on the brakes. I spoke to the guys where i get brakes from...and they are saying that 296mm EBC are for R34 GT-T. I then went to their site: https://www.ebcbrakes.com/vehicle/uk-row/NISSAN/Skyline (R34)/ and search for my car(R34 GT 1998 - it has GTT brakes) and it show me this USR1229 number and they are rly 296mm rotors... So now iam rly confused... The rotors i have now on the car are 310mm asi shown... So where is the problem? Does the whole EBC got it wrong or my calipers are just...idk know what?
    • Oh What the hell, I used to get a "are you sure you want to reply, this thread is XX months old" message. Maybe a software update remove that. My bad.
    • This is a recipe for disaster* Note: Disaster is relative. The thing that often gets lost in threads like this is what is considered acceptable poke and compromise between what one person considers 'good' looks and what someone else does. The quoted specs would sit absurdly outside the guards with the spacers mentioned and need  REALLY thin tyres and a LOT of camber AND rolling the guards to fit. Some people love this. Some people consider this a ruined car. One thing is for certain though, rolling the guards is pretty much mandatory for any 'good' fitment (of either variety). It is often the difference between any fitment remotely close to the guards. "Not to mention the rears were like a mm from hitting the coilovers." I have a question though - This spec is VERY close to what I was planning to buy relative to the inboard suspension - I have an offset measuring tool on the way to confirm it. When you say "like a mm" do you mean literally 1mm? Or 2mm? Cause that's enough clearance for me in the rear :p I actually found the more limiting factor ISNT the coilover but the actual suspension arms. Did you take a look at how close those were?
    • @GTSBoy yeah sorry i know thery are known for colors bud those DBA are too in colors 🙂 Green will be good enough for me
