Hi guys, i was just wondering if anyone is interested in getting their hands on a new cheap clutch kit? The clutch cover is a push type Nissan 2500lbs clamp load whilst the clutch disc is 9 puck cushioned ceramic.

I was able to get a set for 660 (+35 postage).

I dunno if more people are interested, somebody can try to bargain with the shop to sell us cheaper.

I know this is in the wrong section....but just wanna have a survey of who will be interested if this is possible.

The manufacturer is NPC performance clutchs and they use japanese parts (daikin, exedy) to make their clutch kits.

Hi guys, I am not a seller or anything, Im just about to pay for the clutch. If more people are interested, the boss Doug MAY be able to give us a better price...I dunno...no money will pass through me whatsoever ok...so I am not a seller...this probably is the wrong place to post this...but its the place where more people will see it.

If anybody is REALLY interested, Im 100% sure that you will be able to get each kit for below $600 as the boss agreed to do a trade in with my old clutch. He sends the new one, I swap them around, then send the old one back to him.

If people are interested, please contact the shop directly at (07) 32779403. Please also let me know you are interested so I can call them tomorrow to say that there are X number of ppl from SAU interested, can you give us a discount if we quote SAU. This is not a guarantee, i will call the shop tomorrow....depends how many ppl interested.

The kits are brand new by the way! They have 2nd hand reconditioned kits for cheaper...but Im not interested.

Dan

We can supply 9 puck cushioned button clutch kits that come with a NEW 2400lb clamp pressure plate and new thrust bearing for $650 to suit RB's and SR's

That is our regular price. That is no trade , outright sale.

How many old clutch kits do you want, we have dozens out the back ? :)

Cheers

Ken

Hi gtrken,

The kits here retail for 660 normally, but the owner is willing to do it cheaper if I trade in my old clutch....Im trading in 2 old clutches to get 560 for the set :)

Dan

Why would he want your old clutch unless he is rebuilding them?

We throw the old ones out, they are worthless to us.

As I said, we use a NEW pressure plate, not a rebuilt one. Thre is nothing wrong with a rebuilt one, we just prefer to use new.

To answer your PM, we are based in WA and shipping would make it expensive as there heavy but we may be able to do a deal for 10 or more of $590 plus shipping.

Cheers

Ken

    • Ah! I actually managed to snag a lightly used set.... that aren't so suitable for me right now. They don't work on a GTT without some cutting or creative heat moulding. I thought about reselling them myself cause I didn't want to murder them, but it looks like I'm probably going to attempt to murder them/melt them because I may as well. @GTSBoy @PranK can somebody close this thread?
    • Hey mate,  I have a set, one is slightly damaged but wont be noticable once installed.  Shoot me a message if your still after them
    • I couldn't wait But, the black constant tension hose clamps were too thick and there wasn't enough clearance at the T/B and I couldn't get it to seat properly, so I had use a silver one there I also added some 3" silicone over the alloy bit that goes through to hole on the radiator support as it looked like it was sitting on the edge of the hole in the radiator support, I never noticed a rattle or anything, but there was a witness mark It is basicly done, and I can live with the silver hose clamp at the T/B, I will get a black clamp for the head vent though where it is attached to the bulkhead fitting  It never stops...LOL, only issue now with the shock tower brace is it slightly touches the under bonnet liner now, if I leave it it will either wear some paint off the brace where it touches, or damage the liner, so I removed the liner to see what I have to work with, with the liner removed I have about 20mm of clearance, but sadly the middle part of the underside of the bonnet is only dusted with paint and looks crap, so I cannot have that, but.... as I have a roll of Carbuilders premium under bonnet insulation in the garage laying around that is only 5.5mm thick (we were going to use it on the boys Patrol, but he crashed the front of it a few months and it was written off, hence why he now drives my old Honda Accord Euro), I'll use the OEM liner as a template and get the Carbuilders stuff fitted up to cover that dusted paint up
    • You have a knack for photography my friend. It makes the 86 look like a complete bucket. The 34 went with you to Europe and back. It's special. (we all feel the same about our 'shitboxes' that every bystander seems to absolutely love)
