Had a great day on Saturday. Arrived with two mates at 8:15am after narrowly avoiding the defect station around lake george!

My friend Andrew that was due to run his lj on the dyno at 10am got thrown on the thing at 8:30am so i was stoked for leaving as early as i did. He had some problems with the BOV opening when it shouldn't and leaking all manifold pressure after 15psi and peaking his power @ 448hp :D Not great considering his last years' performance of 484. As it turns out, he made the final 4 and upon running this morning, made 520hp and is stoked at being the 4th toughest pump fueled car there.

Immediatley after him was a black VK (?) with plates RAPID8. It is a twin turbo v8 that looked reasonably unnassuming up till the point when it spun up 1206hp first go!!! ON PUMP FUEL!!!

The crowd lost it and cheered till he ran it again and ran a 1097hp without revving it out!!! AWESOME! The Gold TT V8 VK won with 1300+ this morning after both cars were emptied of there fuel tanks, tilt trayed to the servo, filled from the same pump with optimax and tilt trayed back to the dyno cell! Intense. It almost came to fisty-cuffs when the suggestion was made that the Gold car was running the bottle but it was all sorted in the end.

HEAPS of girls with their titties out, (Hey, it was pier pressure that made me cheer them on!) and loads of nice cars.

Great day, Fridays must blow cos i had a fantastic time topped off with a trip to Fyshwick (sp) to top up the DVD pr0n supply :())

I talked to the guy at the Summernats SAU get together. He mainly lives in Canberra but also lives in WA. He works in Canberra.

Bullet holes are definitly from chillin in da Canberra gheto, in particular Franklin St. Manuka and Lonsdale St. Braddon. Pretty tough hoods!

I remember seeing a while ago a news article claiming Richardson to be the bad ass gheto of the ACT. The cops bilitzed it for ages! Lock your doors driving through or you'll get jacked for your ride and your The land of goat sphincter rings chain!

Those Southsieed boys are real G'd up gangstas! They claim the front of the Hyperdome as there turf!

Mark, you don't happen to own the Red CRX that parks right next to the Centrepoint Building, do ya?

    • Cheers Lads Looking at changing up a few things maybe go 2.8lt, bigger injectors with more a modern Turbo. Possibly transbrake and convert to E85 with Haltech ECU. Any thoughts on those Mods changes or better ideas? Want to try keep the car Street/Strip While also being weekend drivable still.
    • The time has come, once again, for us to celebrate all things GTR! Motive DVD's GT-R FESTIVAL for 2024 is fast approaching, and we couldn't be more excited to be part of this awesome event once again! As usual, SAU NSW will be be part of the event, with our traditional club display on the day! If you would like to be part of it, firstly, you'll need to make sure you secure your Display Entry into the show via the below link by Motive Video: https://gtrfestival.com.au/ Other tickets are also available, ie. VIP Entry or Drag Entry, for you to also choose from. Once you have your ticket locked in, make sure to send us a PM via Facebook so we can add you to our list of display cars! When you message us, we will gather some more details from you to make sure we can spot you on the day, and guide you to the right place! One of the things that really sets our club apart is our commitment to being true enthusiasts. When on normal roads we strive to maintain good relations with the authorities as well as the public in general. When attending one of Skylines Australia NSW events please try to: • Be aware of surrounding environment and act accordingly. • Drive courteously on the state’s roads as a true enthusiast should. • Understand how important it is to maintain the good name of SAUNSW and thus, treat others accordingly. • Any misbehaviour will not be tolerated and you will be asked to leave. Thanks guys and hope to see you there!
    • We're a bunch of suspicious skeptics here. So when we see a new user describing themselves as a "guy" but showing "Female" in the bio, we immediately suspect "bot" and "spam". If you are legit, then welcome. If you are a spambot, then die in an AI fire. No offence (unless you're a bot). What car did your dad drive when he met your mum? (Call this a car forum Turing test, if you like). What car did your mum drive when you started school? What car did your date drive to your first formal/prom/whatever. What do the majority of the license plates in your local area have on them (the state motto, the county motto, whatever)?
    • Howdy All! Minutes from this year's AGM attached! Thank you to the old committee for a great year & good luck to the new (*cough* same) team for the year ahead! See you all soon!   SAUNSW_2024 AGM Minutes_04052024.pdf
    • Hey guys! Just rolled into this awesome community and let me tell you, I'm stoked!  Cars have been my jam for as long as I can remember, and there's nothing I love more than talking about them. It doesn't matter if it's the latest performance mods, DIY hacks that'll blow your mind, or just nerding out over engine specs –  I'm all in. I know I'm the new guy here, but I promise I'm not all talk. I want to be a part of this community, learn from the veterans, and maybe even make some friends along the way. So, whether you've been wrenching on rides for decades or just getting started like me, feel free to say hi, share some advice for a newbie, or just throw out a random car fact (because, let's face it, those are always fun!). Looking forward to getting to know you all and becoming part of this gearhead family! Thanks Pihu
