r33 skyline kms reading?

i noticed that most ppl sell there r33 skyline with the kms under 100,000 and someone told me that they put them bak to make it look better is it true is that easy to do?

very few skylines come into aust with reading over 100,000 that coupled with yes they can be rolled back means you have to look at other indicators of a car's age when purchasing one. If you get compression and leak down test, mechanical check and you like the state of the interior etc don't let the possibility of an incorrect odo reading put you off

but what can these engine goes to before there screwed 200,000kms?

also if they have a servise book wont it show there if the clock has been put bak?

service books can be rigged

These engines can last 300,000 kms + before they need rebuilding.

But it all matters how theyve been taken care of

I can easily say most vehicles coming into the market in australia have clocked over 200,000km (especially those 89 gtrs)

Use your head. If a car has full log books, immaculate interior and no wear on the original steering wheel and handbrake then low kms are probably genuine. There are however plenty of cases where you see a car that is quite rough around the edges with 95k on the clock and has obviously been wound back

and yes majority of imports are wound back u have the judge the car on condition not kms.
