When i brought my R33 it was and still is on the center dash the "paint" should i say is "wearing of"

like it aint pure.

am i able to respray it black (obviously).

or do they originally do it a differnt way.

Will respraying it with spray can paint work. If i remove the center dash( easy):P

please help.
