Gday

Ive got R31 skyline TI and i just replaced the dash unit but found the replacement one has stuffed temp gauge.

Is it easy to get one out and put it into the other one i have.

What about the gauge needle? Does it just pull off or what?

The oil gauge and temp gauge share the same front plate but to remove the gauges as a unit without removing the gauge needles the oil pressure gauge needs to be unsoldered or

the gauge needle can be removed and front plate removed and temp gauge can be removed by itself????

How does the needle come off? Just pull it?

Any suggestions

thanks Lee

its a common R31 fault, by memory you have to take out the dash and re solder the joints,

I havent done it yet, but am meaning to get around to doing it

Do a search on the R31 skyline club site, and you will find an answer:
