If this Wednesday is any good weather wise i will be trying to head out to the Creek again to better my 13.6 PB 

all parties interested welcome to come play

good news on the gearbox front...its fixed. It seems that the d1ckheads who put it together put 3-4 bearing sleeve on backwards causing it to creep and throw the clearances out....pick it up on Sat. install Sat night. with luck race next wed.

I'll be there also... Trying to blind you while you're doing a burnout and when taking off at the christmas tree's... LOL... Anyone who is out there should be getting a few snaps of their cars while on the line and in staging lanes... If anyone especially wants a video of their run/s please let me know prior via email: [email protected] and i'll film you from the line... All the best and hope to see you out there...

Sounds great Steve....love to have a vid of a 10sec pass in the beast if i get there! Will let you know how the car is on monday.

i will be there, as well as many of the nissansilvia.com members since we are having our WSID night this coming wednesday. hopefully the weather permits, allready the NSCC meet got cancelled due to rain last wednesday :D

ive only been to WISD once, and the best time i managed was a 13.4 @ 111mph on 18" blingers in full street trim. No octane booster etc. nothing. i screwed up every launch bad. so hopefully now i will go into the 12s :P

Hi Paul, nice to here you got your box back lets hope it works this time.

Got my OS box today but dont know when we will have time to put it in.

It would be good to run our cars heads up.

Hi abflug.......replying on pauls behalf...........yep that would have been great abflug. we are both pulling our hairout. (well I am as pauly has none!). Paul was all ready to head down to sydney to pick the box up 2moro, but we have been told late 2day it's still not ready. Oh well.....as they say......'good thing will come to those who wait'

man i went backwards wednesday night

I improved my 60 foot times from 2.2 to 1.9

but i lost 3/10 tenths at the finish for a best of 13.9

and was also down on speed normally 166 km/h i was was at 160km/h

I will not race again till i have some more power

The car has been put on the backburner as I am still overseas. But I will get stuck into it as soon as I get back to Oz. Still haven't settled on which ECU I am going to use. And yours?

DIRT: my fingers are permanently twised from crossing them so much. Patience is a virtue, especially in this game. ;)

      All this talk about fuel and fancy ECUs, meanwhile my poor old R32 has neither.... When the ignition is turned on, should there be power running o the fuel pump constantly or just for the few seconds it usually takes to prime the pump? About to go have another look at it, have watched some YouTube vids on how to use a  multimeter and looked at some wiring diagrams but really have NFI what I'm looking for because electricity is invisible

      Yuh....but weren't all the supertourers, except maybe the Audis, FWD? I don't recall any of the others being AWD.

      Yeah, hard to find and a pain in the ass to change with the transverse engine. I’ve worked on a GTiR before and it’s not a job I’d ever want to do again. theres a company in South Africa that makes RS3 gearbox adaptors for the AWD SR20 including gearbox mounts, so I could modernise it and go a dual clutch with paddles. For now tho, it ticks all the boxes. Super cheap, can throw the kids and their junk in the back, and SR20 that I can turbo cheaply, a CVT that’s not a dog’s breakfast like the V35, and has 80% interchangeable parts with stuff I can source from the wreckers cheaply…. But it’s still unique. I love the wagon back of the Autech version. It’s cheap enough that I can buy another stock manual FWD Primera with SR20VE, swap the gearbox to the N15 pulsar short gear ratio box, swap out the brakes to the R32 ones I pulled off my 32, register it on club plates and take it racing. $1300 shipping from NZ. Heaps of parts and aftermarket builders for transverse SR20’s in NZ.
