Its a gtst, with minimal mods; just what i wanted.

And if any advanced driver courses come up, I'll be sure to take interest, if not jump at the opportunity

yeah i waited ages to find one with minimal mods too. do some courses with murcotts (www.murcotts.com.au). i'm booked in for level 1 (defensive) and level 2 in the coming months.

Congrats, Iam going for my P's in 25days or so when i turn 18, Ive been looking into the Driver Dynmaic's course's run by Kev. Ive heard good things, has any body done one of them?

Yeah, ive done one and quite a few SAU-Vic people have done them over the years, as Kev has done a few group buy sort of things with discounted prices.

It was a great day, id highly recommended it to anyone, no matter if you have just got ur license or have had it for ages.

murcotts driver training is good.

You learn obvious stuff, like keep ur distnace in traffic etc and not to tailgate, watch for other peoples mistakes and so fourth

The best part is out on the track obvously if u dont have abs go easy on the brakes to prevent skidding, and thats pretty much all the teach u.

and when u hit the slalom go as hard as u can lol,

Our instructor didnt mind us going full throttle, it always adds some excitement when someone spins out, after all it is in a controlled environment

    • Find out what RPM it was idling at with the IACV unplugged. It's very weird that the rpm didn't change at all, and then it stalled. When it stalls is it nearly like a switch off, like you've turned the engine off? Or is it more stutters and sputters and coughs to death over a few seconds? Or does the RPM just slowly keep going down and down? Have you done a test of trying to start it with the AFM unplugged? Does it still die?     If you Follow Josh's advice on using Nistune to check the voltages (which is a perfect method!) if you see anything out of wack voltage wise, THEN get the multimeter out and read the voltage directly at the sensor. If the two vary, then you're now looking for a wiring issue vs a sensor issue. So be aware, what the ECU sees, may not be what the sensor is actually saying too...
    • You very likely need to get it on a dyno and tune it. My assumption is, you've got an RB25DET tune in it, which has a different manifold, different injectors, and different cams as a minimum. What O2 sensor are you running?   When you say it runs extremely rich from idle all the way to redline, is this just free revving it you see that?
