I'm having a shot at the low/flat 13.

If I get there I'll have spent:

$400 on exhaust dump pipe and thermal wrap

$99 on K&N Panel filter

$90 on Turbosmart bleeder

$330 on a new ceramic button clutch.

$700 on Ogura 4.8kg chrome molly flywheel.

$114 on whiteline diff cradle kit (part no. KCA349) YOU MUST BUY THIS FIRST!

I got a 13.8 with over 100kgs in the boot and a slipping stock clutch that had done 90,000kms & 205 tyres, only 8psi of boost used and no octane additives or anything fancy. My plugs were gapped at 1.1mm at this time.

For my next attempt I might get organised and take the work crap out of the car and I'll be running 10psi of boost. If I am able to get my 60ft down to 2.1/2.0 it should be interesting.

It is a kit that includes a set of six round nolathane bushes, you position 4 of them on the mounting points on the diff cradle. This changes the geometry allowing for better 'squat' when launching which important for increasing traction.

They are easy to fit and come with instructions. Takes about 15min.

Hopefully i can get a low 13 out of mine running 12psi... have yet to take it to the drags, but next time there is a SAU melbourne drag meet i'm gonna give it a good shot.

Basically mine is:

1. HKS FMIC ($1000 or so- apparently not essential unless running bigger turbo)

2. Turbosmart dualstage b/c (this one is $280 or so - so fairly cheap in comparison)

3. Apexi S-AFC ($450 or so)

4. Blitz pod w/ cold air ($200 or so)

5. HKS dump pipe + high flow cat (??)

6. Adj suspension (???)

I'd probably say 2, 3, and 5 are the most important... but 6 and possibly good strip tyres to get better traction and truly be guaranteed. So maybe $3000 for a similar type setup to be fitted and tuned? A good exhaust system probably would be the most expensive part of the equation.

Where did u get this kit from? Might need to consider same. Just on the street main problem is spin if i'm too eager on the accelerator.
