RB25DET SII ignitor location?

Is the ignitor actually inside the ecu or is it in the coilpacks?

I have heard both about equally and am trying to figure out which location is true. I am throwing together a stand alone system that has not been done before on the RB's and that is one thing I need to figure out.

The ignitors for the SII are located within the coil packs.
