Would these things help your headlights and interior lights not to dim when you have a big sound system on or when you're winding up electric windows?

They sure do mate, and many other things.

We have a few replies from customers that have used the product (they are real people and you can see how many posts they have etc.)

Is this thing hard to install? Does it come with english instructions? I assume it connects to the battery and engine bay components? Well in the R33's the battery is in the boot, so wouldn't the cables be too short?

Hi mate, easy to install. Comes with english instructions.

Connects to engine bay and battery.

You need to purchase an extra wire to run down to the engine bay and then use that as the main and split off to seperate engine components.

Hi mate, you can get the cable from any car audio store (eg. JB, strathfields etc.)

Shoudn't cost any more than $10.

You run the wire from the battery to the engine bay. You can run this where ever it can go (eg. under the carpet and through the firewall or what ever takes your fancy)

I was just about to buy one.

And then i found 2 other people who want one. Will you combine shipping?

Yes definately.

We will only charge you what we get charged.

We are not like some companies that charge you extra, or charge you for handling.

Let me know how many you are after and we'll get to work.

There is still around 150 units left from the new batch.

Hey Greg; any word on my unit yet?  Thought it was being sent express?

Hi mate, it was sent out by express post. I dropped it off in the express post box on Sunday afternoon before I went to the airport.

Please send me an email or PM with all your details and I will forward them to my sister. She is making sure all the logistics run smoothly whilst i am in Hong Kong. I come back on the 3rd but I can check it out from here anyway.

Installed this last night... had some trouble locating all the grounding points but I got there in the end. Tested it out this morning and can definitely see differences - the voltage meter doesn't drop anymore no matter how many buttons I press at the same time!

Also noticed a little bit more ummpff down in the bottom gears - could be misconception. Have a shitty tape deck right now so no idea whether radio booms more; and as for lights - no lights during day time :)

Question:

The LED on the unit is always on, even when the car is off... this will have absolutely no chance of draining the battery yeah? I know this is a dumb question but just to be safe.

Finally, talked to my mate this morning and he explained how it works... the unit is just packed with capacitators which hold voltage from the battery. Whenever there is a dip in the power curve (electrical), the unit will release charge and keep the curve pretty much flat. This explains how everything related to the electrics keeps running high if not "higher" since there is no drop in voltage.

Sorry if I've repeated any information before.

Will post photos of my install on my site later on.

Thanks again Greg

    • Gday gents, been having a issue for a little while now and have come for some advice. car is a r34 gt-four (awd na sedan), when taking tight corners such as car parks and roundabouts feels as if the diff is locked on both ends, have literally snapped 3 shafts and issues doing my head in. Car has 60k klm so mechanical failure in the diff is unlikely but possible, been to 2 very reputable shops near where I live and both have had no luck. What would be my process of trying to find the cause? not too interested in pulling apart transfer cases just to find nothing, have these cars come out with electronic BS that might cause this? not too mechanically inclined so any information will probably be passed on an expert thanks in advance
    • I realise that perhaps no one will in Japan will see this, but why not try anyway. What are you driving in Japan? I have a (sniff (;_;) ) 2018 Toyota Corolla Sports 1.2L Turbo 6MT. It has a class trailing 116PS and 190Nm power/torque... 😐 Why? Because back in 2018 there was only 1(?) manual transmission car available from Toyota which was the 86 (not including the Mark X GRMN 2015/2019), so when they released this one I had to support them by getting one in the hope that they would continue to release more manual models. As it turns out they released the Supra, Yaris, and GR Corolla all with manual transmissons after that. Mods are RSR Ti2000 Down springs, HKS panel filter, 18x8.5" Weds Sports SA-20R Face F with 215/40R18 Toyota Proxes Sport tyres. Eventually a full exhaust, boost controller sub-con, Blitz turbocharger and aero parts will be added before it gets replaced...
    • It looks proper factory fitted. It's exactly how I would do it. Well done 👍
