200SX was U-turn in front of a tram.

Never a smart move. Trams always win.

No-one seriously hurt - driver was trapped for a while, but got out OK.

Have seen the car around previously - check on NS.com if you want more info, they sure to know.

My friend's boss managed to get hit doing something similar in richmond a few weeks ago.

Luckily it was a 40 zone so no real speed involved. pushed their work van a bit, then the van came to rest up on 2 wheels stuck to the bumper.

sliding door is screwed now wont close, but nothing compared to that 200sx. how the F did he manage so much damage. Or are nissans made of crumple zones?

Heartbrkr: Serious?

Have you ever tried kicking a tram? They don't have much give.

The 200 might as well have been made of playdoh.

Important traffic rule #1

----------------------------

Anything in collision with a tram will come off second best.

This includes buildings and people.

that sucks... i'm working for just car insurance, and we just started trainging and this car was brought up.... they nearly considered bringing it back to life, but thought otherwise when they found out how bad the struckture was!

sorry to hear about ur bro mate, my best mates in hospital too coming off a bike cos of some dick pulling out in front of him on warrigul road...

cheers BENRYS, alot of f*cks out there. My bro just got 2 of his three ligaments attached yesterday. The third to be reatached in 8-12 months, which they will have to take ligaments from his other good leg. The most extreme thing he will be doing in the future is trying to walk.

    • Ha ha ha, that's fair mate! We have the crackhead dogs now. Mainly because the missus wants the crazy dogs while she still has the energy and capacity to be able to keep up with them! Ha ha our current two are both Working GSD, there brothers and sisters (from the same litters) are in Police, Corrective Services, and I believe one did end up in defence force too. They're wild and fun, yet right now, both curled up asleep on the lounge room floor while we watch some TV. Mal is very likely the next dog (unless I get my couch potato guardian dog 😛 )   What are your Kitties names? Are you planning some house work, like those high kitty shelves, built in scratching post, and some cat passages from one room to another room?
    • Maine Coone, did look at but to big and fluffy As for performance dogs, we had Mals at work, performance dogs are fun to watch, but, way to much work for this old rooster
    • Yep, it was only an option on the Q50 Hybrid.  Same in Japan as far as I know. And doesn't use a centre diff like the Suby's do, so not the same as the WRX.  But it also isn't a reactive AWD like other Nissan AWD vehicles are, eg. Murano/Xtrail/etc.
    • You should have got a Maine Coone then. Only thing is they're big. But so cool, and just like a dog. Or, just get yourself a high performance dog. That'll teach you for wanting Parkour indoors 😛
    • Are you thinking of Bens R32? I don't remember if his went through the bonnet itself, but it went through the chassis rail. Brad (RISKIN) bought it, and turned it into a track car. It's funny how anti people are of Jim Berry now. I remember when I pulled mine out (during an engine change) and inspected it and found it cracking badly. At that point in time so many people were even on SAU, were so pro Jim Berry, and that was after Bens GTR exploded his quite publically.
