Beer Baron, do I add you to the list?

Tommy K, It wil lbe one of the last drive days as the weather starts to hot up, but I undersatnd if the girl comes before your car!

yeah, ad me down thanks mate. I am reviewing some applications at the moment and hopefully wont need to do interviews on the friday.

let's hope the weather stays cool for this one :D

Ok all, 8.30 will be fine as a start time, pay your $120 at the ambo/admin building just before you turn right into the back of the pits.

YOU MUST HAVE YOUR CAMS/L2S or PAYMENT RECIEPT if you want to drive. It would be a good idea to bring your SAU membership card incase they ask for it.

You will have to get your car checked over and then we will be ready to rumble.

If everyone is happy to kick in $5 I will grab a garage to put our gear in, they slug you for $25 for one. I will try and grab a tripple and see if we can fit all the lines in the same spot.

Can everyone please number off and confirm your attendance and advise if you are happy to kick in $5 for garage.

See you there. If any one wants to contact me on the day please call me on 0402847826. Thanks

Paul, sounds good, do you want to pm me your number?

I'm really looking forward to it as this may be the last reasonable temp track day for this year. but I now have a board meeting and interviews on friday, but i think i may be able to miss the board meeting, and hold the interviews next week. plus i wanted to:

fit the new FMIC

fit the castor rods

get a wheel allignment

bleed the brakes

fit a WL rear sway bar

at this stage i think all i'll get done out of that lot is bleeding the brakes!

oops, not so smart this week. At this point it's looking more likely that i WILL be there. if necesary i will just bleed the brakes at the track :)

    • Hello everyone, I'm glad to join you.
    • Definitely do-able haha. I will give it a try if the fuel pump hanger does not solve the issue. Just need to find some quiet time in the area, Malta is like a big city and I live right next to the main hospital so it is very busy during the day. I'll be installing it in about 2 weeks, found a garage that is pretty knowledgeable and has the necessary tools. This garage has worked on multiple builds, even for competitions. They even asked me to stay with, so I should be fine.
    • Just to add, I found the r32 gtr ecu the most forgiving, the r33 one would get the shits.
    • For what it’s worth I drove my gtr for over a decade with gt-ss as a true daily after I pulled off the -5s, I had it engineered and went with stock ecu etc.  never skipped a beat.    I would only worry if you can’t get good fuel all the time in a tropical paradise
    • I bought an engine from a friend of a friend many years ago, it was sold to me as a RB25det Neo.    recently I started pulling it apart and noticed that the intake manifold was pretty different from others that I had seen on RB engines so did a bit of research and found that it was a non turbo manifold. So I’m sceptical now that it is a NEO DET and just thinking it’s a NEO DE (it does have a turbo strapped to it currently).    can you identify the engine model from the numbers on the block?
