Woofer Box Question

i got 2x 12' subs in a bandpassbox hooked up in the boot of my line last week :) the box is pretty heavy and it moves around when the car moves, also i had to put the amp sideways behind the subs because theres not enough space.

Any pros out there can tell me will there be any negative effects for putting the amp sideways with carboard around it? and any quick ways of locking the sub box in the place i wanted

your help will be appreciated :D

try cutting a piece of timber to fit between the box and the side of the boot, wedge it in, but make sure its not too big, or u might break things that worked for me till i removed the sub box completely LOL.

I made a fake floor for my TX3 and that worked a treat in holding it down, it was carpetted in the sub box material nad my 12" in a box was perfectly stable even with hard cornering

I am considering this for my GTR now because the spare wheel creates an annoying buldge in the boot and my sub would slide everywhere

Velco to solve your problem, yes :P

If you're willing to part with all of about $3, head to bunnings or a hardware store, grab 2 (or 4 if you centre the box) small L brackets and screw them to the floor plate. _l l_ (like so) drop the box between then and its going nowhere, while still easy to get out. leave the velcro on, can't hurt.
