I'm having a cleanup, and as I'll be selling the skyline shortly (It's being replaced by the stagea for the expanded family.. :-) it means I've got some tires that I'd been collecting for future use for sale -

4 x Yokohama AVID S306 255/40 ZR 17 (only slightly used) -SOLD

2 x Bridestone Grid II 235/45 ZR 17 - SOLD

4 x Firestone F690 215/50 R17 91V

I don't really want to break up each set of 4 (and the set of 2). I'm in Melbourne, and am happy to drop them of anywhere.

For pics (I got to frustrated trying to use the gallery) look at http://www.r34skyline.com/tires.htm (they are a bit dirty given they have been stored in the garage roof :-)

More details ->

4 x Yokohama AVID S306 255/40 ZR 17 (only slightly used)

These are worth over $300 new (I checked today). I'm selling them for $120 each.

There would be 75% to 85%+ tread left (6mm), as I think they were put on new a few months before the car was sold in Japan (there are still the little bits of rubber on the side of the tires, as they haven't come off yet).

They were on my skyline when it arrived, but I had to take them off for compliance. Always meant to put them back on again, but never got around to it! Now that I've got the stagea (and am selling the skyline (R34 GTX:-)shortly), they are a bit too sporty for it - which is why I'm selling them.

2 x Bridestone Grid II 235/45 ZR 17

These are worth well over $200 new (they are the Z ones). I'm selling them for $75 each.

As you can see in the photo's, lots of tread left - I don't know as a percentage, but would guess 75%+ 6mm to 7mm

4 x Firestone F690 215/50 R17 91V

$50 each.

Also plenty of tread left - these were on my recently arrived stagea, I would have left them on apart from compliance! But now I've put slightly different sized ones on, so don't want to keep these as spares.

NOTE: There are no defects/holes etc, but you can't use these tires for compliance (they all came down from Japan).

Sorry, I didn't realise there were rules on putting a price on. I'll do that tonight, with a "or nearest offer" attached.

I just want to get rid of them at whatever the market price is. Having no idea, I'll post a price and and see what happens..

I'd take 4x Yoko tyres for $120 each depending on cost to send to Bundaberg, Queensland - $70?

Sorry, already sold via PM to someone in Melbourne. You missed them by about an hour.. :D

Rest going shortly I suspect.. Wife will be very happy not to have them sitting around! :)

    • Absolute f*cking nightmare. I had to take breaks constantly, and I was always pissed off when I got home. The line split in Italy on day 2 (we drove from the Netherlands), lol. Driving any narrow European town was... well, sh*t.   Appreciate it man. Here, I'll just drop a favourite from the load I took on Saturday.   I'll update here when things happen with the car, the thing is, with stock power and almost everything chassis-wise taken care of, there really are no problems. 268,000kms now and counting.
    • Ah! I actually managed to snag a lightly used set.... that aren't so suitable for me right now. They don't work on a GTT without some cutting or creative heat moulding. I thought about reselling them myself cause I didn't want to murder them, but it looks like I'm probably going to attempt to murder them/melt them because I may as well. @GTSBoy @PranK can somebody close this thread?
    • Hey mate,  I have a set, one is slightly damaged but wont be noticable once installed.  Shoot me a message if your still after them
    • I couldn't wait But, the black constant tension hose clamps were too thick and there wasn't enough clearance at the T/B and I couldn't get it to seat properly, so I had use a silver one there I also added some 3" silicone over the alloy bit that goes through to hole on the radiator support as it looked like it was sitting on the edge of the hole in the radiator support, I never noticed a rattle or anything, but there was a witness mark It is basicly done, and I can live with the silver hose clamp at the T/B, I will get a black clamp for the head vent though where it is attached to the bulkhead fitting  It never stops...LOL, only issue now with the shock tower brace is it slightly touches the under bonnet liner now, if I leave it it will either wear some paint off the brace where it touches, or damage the liner, so I removed the liner to see what I have to work with, with the liner removed I have about 20mm of clearance, but sadly the middle part of the underside of the bonnet is only dusted with paint and looks crap, so I cannot have that, but.... as I have a roll of Carbuilders premium under bonnet insulation in the garage laying around that is only 5.5mm thick (we were going to use it on the boys Patrol, but he crashed the front of it a few months and it was written off, hence why he now drives my old Honda Accord Euro), I'll use the OEM liner as a template and get the Carbuilders stuff fitted up to cover that dusted paint up
