Yes,

It's just like C++ or Visual Basic, but instead of text code you use objetcs, and you can build objetcs into more advanced structures. It comes with a large library of structures for doing quite complex task's, so developemnt time is reduced.

See'ya:burnout:

Enjoy your lunch. :D

Hmmm sounds like a very interesting package.... I did quite alot of C++ Programming and some PLC work back in TAFE, but that was about 4 Years ago now.... Thats why my questions are so vague... as is my memory :)

Oh well thanks for taking the time to answer/indulge my questions... I find it interesting....

I will do my best not to bother ya with any more silly Programing questions now :P

Chat to ya later :uh-huh:

abusive sms's from paul

what a life i leave

hehe, i have night shift dude so nothing to do till then.

besides i've already driven up to ossi park and back to get the clutch checked.

the vibration is virtually non existant anymore which is sweet.

Ross described as you lost some tractability down low with the lightened flywheel but will hae gained more up top

whatever that means

Haha.... Yeah now that you mention it I have always thought your face was familiar.... I just put it down to one of those faces that you think you know but you don't know.... :P

Yeah Geoff was really cool.... I knew him pretty well..... I think towards the end though he left as he was appointed to another position and was rarely at AMTC...

I am trying to remember the old guys name..... Ahh I cant think of it for the life of me!!!! Wasnt it Kim Gates or something???

I had him for several classes over the course of my studies there...

What course did you do there??? Was it an Electronic or a Computer Systems Diploma or something different???

Oh and Howard Baker!!!! He was so cool..... Hehe the way he said he couldnt get done for descrimination because he descriminated against everyone!!!!

Yeah you turned up... you passed..... Glad I didnt have him for any serious classes though!!!! Only ones like occupational health and safety and writing workplace documents and such!!!

yup kim gates was his name

Geoff got given an admin position at amtc when i was last there so his student contact dropped heaps

i did the associate diploma of computer systems engineering.

also did enough extra subjects to pick up the certificate 4 of electronic engineering.

now i just got to get off my arse and go ask for the bits of paper hehe.

Yeah the paperwork is kind of important!!!

We couldn't have been two far apart in the course then....

Alot of my mates from tafe ended up finding jobs at the end of the course, and to this day still have like 1 subject outstanding and the refuse to finish the course.... And we finished about 4 years ago!!!!

    • Yes the gear for the R33/34 is different, it is red and has a different number of teeth. My part didn't come with that gear though, so I don't know how many teeth are on the red one. You'd have to reuse the 260RS/R33 gear, as long as it's not destroyed.   Haha, as unfortunate as that might be it was working fine for about the first 1500km I've had the car for now.
    • Update all   thanks to the workshop manual, it lead me back to checking fuses as mentioned central locking and door open lights worked when acc was switched on. diagram attached shows two points of power 1. ACC and 2.  Batt with the later being fused (#28) I did check the fuses using a multimeter but I must have stuffed that up also. Went back and checked the batt fuse in interior fuse box and you wouldn’t believe it… a blown fuse. replaced fuse and everything is now working as it should including the climate control   thank you all with your positive insight and knowledge.
    • Where is the warning "That this thread is super old"   I just went into a 5 year old thread, went to do a reply, and couldn't see anywhere obvious a warning of it being super old
    • Duncan is correct. Pitwork (and Toyota's own cheap brand "Drive Joy") were primarily created as brands to sell other manufacturers car parts. It would be weird if Nissan sold parts for Toyota vehicles with a Nissan logo on it, so they created Pitwork to sell parts for other brans Toyota, Honda etc. They are not the same as Nissan genuine parts, although they *do* meet Nissan's standards for replacement parts. They aren't supposed to be a substitute for genuine parts, but a cheaper alternative that is better than Ebay fake parts from you-know-where.
    • Thanks GTSBoy, much easier to work with it now it's free!
