Seems a few dudes got PB's.

I took the Volvo out for a spin tonight, it tells me it wants to go to the drags too.

From the looks of things it will get a mid 14 if I leave it in 'D' maybe a bit quicker. I'll have to get the shift kit put in so I can get 1st to 2nd working better on manual shifts, then it might get a 13.

Yea - it was interesting cos some of the guys didn't think the track prep was very good so mixed feelings really.

be interesting to see how the Volvo would actually go - I know it's quick. Would be great to see the look of ppl's faces when it rolls into the staging area:)

You find the guys having a winge about the track prep are the ones with the particularly slow cars.

The Volvo does good burnouts too. I just have to convice the wife to let me take it racing. The two baby seats make for a nice touch as well.

the track seem overly grippy at the area where i changed from 1st to 2nd but only for about the first 3 to 4 passes after that i felt it was fine

As soon as I left the plex the car was awesome, must have been poorly mixed fuel, the car was faster than it's ever been.

I'll still check the plug's etc, but the car feel 's great.

I was a bit pissed at first, seemed like I just wasted my money last night, but on the way home I was happy again, beat a few cars:D

There was a Commodore trying to keep-up around a corner, he fish-tailed it a few times before running it up and embankment at 70km/hr:bahaha:

Yeah, the Trev did the old tank-slapped, over corrected and bang. It actually diappeared into the bushes, looked funny from my vantage.

Did you check the map for your cruise? Long term forecast says it may be wet next weekend, but the bbq spot that we checked is undercover - I will phone tomorrow to see if we can book that spot.
