Yeah, we ended up going in to Nannup to the service area, found your camp and heard the news.

We saw your cars at the stages, they seemed to be doing OK.

See'ya:burnout:

Rob had a boost solenoid line come off and cost him 3 mins ( teething problem ).

Gearbox also kept jumping out of gear which is an unknown one but assume they fixed it at the night 2 hr service.

Brad jammed in 5th again for a minute or so.

Damned Subaru boxes.

Ouch, that sucks, was it driver error?

Just going at 40km/hr on the gravel I can see how easy it would be to loose it.

See'ya:burnout:

Not too many other reasons for crashing a car.

Yea , first rally , never been on notes and not driven a Rex on dirt.

Too much car , too little talent atm.

Don't know , will check it out Monday lunchtime when there back.

Am having a week off cos got to stay close to the Hospital for the inevitable bad news .

:D

Hopefully the boys did a good job servicing.

Would MUCH rather have been there than here atm.

Btw , Busselton to Joondalup Hospital in 2 hrs flat was a reasonable pace. If the cops caught me , I wasn't stopping but didn't see one. Hehe

Ken,

Maybe suggest they buy a GTR to rally in:D

See'ya:burnout:

Not eligible for state or Int'l rally.

Btw , did you see that awesome silver HK Monaro at the rally.

Side pipe , big noise , big hp , tyre shredding action.

Loved it.

Saw the old corolla of Nicholas Box roll right in front Friday night at the super special.

Dad , rushed to Hospital.

Sad but he is 80 so I suppose he had to go eventually.

Still miss him though.

I guess he's got to start somewhere, expensive lesson though.

Yea , unfortunately people don't want to learn there craft in low HP 2 wd cars.

Trick is to learn to drive the wheels off a small buzzbox and then step up when you are at the absolute limit.

Too many guys just go for the big hp monsters but never really come to grips with it cos they are too scared.

Ken,

Yeah, I love the Monaro and the Mustang. The Monaro had a bit of a hit on the 2nd stage, but it kept going, loved the noise of the engine.

See'ya:burnout:

A bit of a hit. He was prolly lucky.

I saw that hit the loose stuff at the back of the First Super special and every time he touched the throttle , it just erupted in wheelspin.

It's not often you can say that there is too much horsepower.

Actually it's probably the cart spring type back end causing 1/2 the trouble.

Nah, we were down south, it was nice to be invited but I'd have felt a bit strange rocking up to a wedding in my SAU cap:D

I'm sure we'll here all about it in a couple days. Hope she is feeling OK after her accident.

See'ya:burnout:

Yea , she will probably be more sore from the honeymoon than the crash . Hehehe

Cheers

    • Haha no I'll do that one tomorrow. I've been ignoring it. It's the 5.0 one I'm taking about. (There is a little X to hide the 4.7 one if you want)
    • So I'm going to have to keep ignoring the 4.7 update, or whatever version it is? Poop. I was hoping you'd put me out of my misery.
    • We have a huge update coming in the next few months, version 5 of Invision will be released. I'm holding off any changes until after this change as I'm not sure what features will be removed or introduced.
    • Yeah, plenty of air flow, there is a dedicated path that feeds the air in to the OEM intake tube behind the bumper As for a "tangible effect", maybe, but getting the pod/intake air out of the hot engine bay is worth it psychologically to me, even if it gives no performance difference, so the tangible effect in my Lizard brain saysss yessss  In the end, to me a tangible effect isn't always about performance, sometimes it a sound or a look, or even a...... feeling  Ooga-Chaka Ooga-Ooga Ooga-Chaka Ooga-Ooga Ooga-Chaka Ooga-Ooga Ooga-Chaka Ooga-Ooga
    • yeah first and reverse is where you will find clutch release issues (whether hydraulic or mechanical) because the difference in revs required is the highest there; particularly changing down from 2nd to 1st when still moving. To be clearer though, it is possible that the clutch release bearing is the wrong height. This is less likely than a hydraulic issue but it is not unheard of when you are mixing and matching
