GTS-t VSPEC, oil catch can vs oil breather. Never heard of the distinction before. I know of the filtering kind, but sucking filtered oil vapours back into the intake kinda defeats the purpose for me. If you're going to break the law, may as well go and break it properly. :)

the IT guys have to be messing with me nobody can be this stupid - we send our conference room bookings to them - so i ask for the one on level 9 so they get back to me with a confirmation that level 6's has been booked for me and so i reply via email no no on i wanted level 9 so they get back to me saying level 10 has been booked for me aghhhh - what is it aobut the number 9 they do not understand?!

Gradenko,

It's not only designed for recirc true, but seeing as most of the oil is removed from the vapur then I don't see the problem with the recir idea.

I got to go out and pick-up our new Linux Server:D. I'll be back in 1 hour.

See'ya:burnout:

high commissioner is coming - so functions have to be organised so do briefings in which we are expected to know a little bit about their country,

    • Despite the level up question, actually I do know what that is....it is a pressure sender wire.  So check out around the oil filter for an oil pressure sender, or maybe fuel pressure near the filter or on the engine. Possibly but less likely coolant pressure sensor because they tend to be combined temp/pressure senders if you have one. Could also be brake pressure (in a brake line somewhere pre ABS) but maybe I'm the only one that has that on a skyline.
    • Pull codes via the self-diagnosis procedure. As far as I can tell this is just a sign of transmission issues but not a code unto itself.
    • Hi All, putting the engine back together and everything is perfect except have this plug left over.. any ideas what it is for and where it goes? Is on cold side under the intake plenum *note not a stock plug, as everything has been modified Cheers
    • Sounds like a misfire. Check fuel pressure and don't even think about going into boost while it's like this unless you enjoy engine rebuilds.
