Meet at City West at 10 - 10:30 (check events thread not sure) .... maps handed out on the day but we are ending up in john forest nat park for BBQ lunch BYO meat n beer.

depends how i feel after saturday night whether i go or not .... but i went to dardenup cruise and i was trashed .... although i had somebody to drive otherwise i might not of survived haha.

ahh good weather on sunday is a good thing....

i am getting pissed off with my car, if i accelerate hard up to (and mybe over) 120 i can hear a whining noise coming from the rear of my car, i hope that its nothing. i got a feeling it might be the wheel bearings tho...

might treat myself to a couple of pints at little creatures on saturady i think..

not my idea :) Mel's housemates who i dare not argue with cos they get in a huffy...... they wanted to go Metros RnB Superclub first off and i put my foot down about that .... we only went there a couple of weekends ago. Must admit theres good eye candy in Freo tho :)

eeek not good :) ..... my cars such a slug at the moment .... feel lime im driving a commonwhore gonna leave it til i save up a couple of grand then go see Jash and see what miracles he can perform on it. But i must admit its gone thru going thru about 2 -3 tanks ( 3 on a cruise week) of fuel a week .... to one tank of fuel on a cruise week!! Why all of sudden is the fuel economy got good???

DC's? Drum Club??

yeah last time i was there was my 19th Bday but i was too sick to care trying to control a crazy off his face boyfriend ..... so my memories of the place arent that good.

um fuel economy got better not worse.

haha yeah havent been in ages .... check it out again one day.... just have bad memories of the place that'll stick i think. Bit like the Rise dont like going in there too often these days as well.

Y compo?

umm, i did that about 2 years ago now, i only got my arse into gear to get the compo cause i am getting out... and yeah it hurt like hell... got some nice morphine at the hospital though!

i dunno how much i iwll get but i have been told about $5000, that should be nice but i think that my car will miss out, just cause i have got the shits with it and by the time that i will get it the house will need painting and the gardens will need doing...

Such a nice feeling when your boss has gone to Canberra for half ya last week and you know when he comes back you wont be there to be shouted at if things havent been done ...... ahhhh freedom. :)

My cars interior is in desperate need of a clean - i used to keep it spotless but at the moment its really untidy!

$5,000 & Morphine wow .... *niz looks around for airtight doors* ...... Doh! :)

haha i bet you spend it on ya car anyway :)

Guys with cars n houses never spend any money on their house unless its neccessary!

    • Hi...so a "development" here aswell The swap is "done" and car went "test drive" BUT it seems the clutch(maybe gearbox?) is a little bit sad? I bought this clutch kit https://justjap.com/products/xtreme-heavy-duty-organic-clutch-flywheel-kit-nissan-skyline-r31-r32-r33-push-type "Problem" is that the first gear is hard to put into and it seems that the clutch is not disengaged. It was not the problem with the old clutch...(or like sometime the first gear would not get as easy specialy when the fluid was cold) So? Can it be like...bad "install" or is the clutch wrong ((it should not have been) i done research to get the right one) Or is this "normal" with new clutch and needs to be break in?
    • @Duncan I can try  and thanks i did not thought about VIN and part numbers for 33/34. @GTSBoy yeah it looks like iam gonna do that
    • Forgot to include this but this is the mid section of my steering rack that looks like it has a thread/can be turned with that notch mentioned in the post:
    • Hey everyone, Wanted to pick some brains about this issue I'm having with rebuilding my 33 rack (PN is 49001-19U05). All of the tutorials/videos I've seen online are either R34 or S Chassis racks which seem to be pretty straightforward to disassemble but this process doesnt carry over to my rack. Few of the key differences that I've noted The pinion shaft on the other racks bolt on with 3 torx bolts: Whereas my rack bolts on with 2 allen head bolts: These changes are pretty inconsequential but the main difference is how you pull the actual rack out of the housing. The other skyline/s chassis racks can be taken out by tapping the rack out of the body with a socket and it just slides right out. I'm unable to do that with my rack because there's a hard stop at the end that doesn't let the seal/shaft be tapped out. Can also see a difference in the other end of the rack where mine has a notch that looks like you're able to use a big wrench to unthread 2 halves of the rack whereas the other racks are just kinda set in with a punch. My rack: Other racks: TLDR; Wanted to know if anyone has rebuilt this specific model of steering rack for the R33 and if there were any steps to getting it done easier or if I should just give this to a professional to get done. Sorry if this post is a bit messy, first one I've done.
    • I would just put EBC back on the "I would not use their stuff" pile and move on.
