Boosty - where theres a will theres a way :)

haha yeah it was funny when i lived outta home ...... the ex thought my parents had too much control over me .... my parents thought the ex had too much control over me and there was this constant tug of war for my attention .... it was pretty stressful at the time but now i look at it - it was kinda funny. ;)

U sound like quite the commodity there Niz.

I still live with my parents and while it does drive me crazy at times, its all good. When i get mom and dad asking me questions and moving my stuff i kinda get close to losing it. I think all ppl our age that live at home do.

Parents went away for near on 2 months a while back and left me and my big bro who doesnt know even how to work the washing machine and my little sister who is not too bad but a bit of a slob to fend for ourselves.

I loved it, couldnt get enough. The regime of Shaun had begun. Eat what i felt like (i cooked the meals) kept the house spotless and basically did as i liked.

After they got back i alomost had a breakdown but now its back to normal and ive come to accept the norm.

Basically id move out but its too much fun having no responsibilites.:uh-huh:

Well actually moving back in with mine wasnt so bad - cos they appreciated me more - and they werent there half the time anyway (in bunbury) and so it was just me and a mate of mine had the house - so it was basically like still living on my own ..... and when they did occasionally come back to High Wycombe they appreciated me a lot more since id been away and were absolute honeys about giving me my own space etc ..... but now its gone backward quite a bit.

Im hoping this summer they migrate down to Bunbury for most of the summer again and then i maybe tempted to stay.

Boosty - i cope pretty well without my folks ..... my mums always worked so from an early age i was taught to do my own washing and make my own meals etc.

Yeh my mom used to work so ive pretty much done everything for myself. She hasnt worked in a while now but the habit still stuck around.

I guess the old "if u want a job done right do it ureself" theory applies here. My bro is hilarious, he would rather eat 3 serving of noodles a day than make something else. Complete nut job me thinks.

i like making my own meals - i get in a cooking mood ..... unfortunately my mum never had the time to teach me to use anything other than the microwave ........ so cooking was a lot of trial n error haha.

Paul - yeah - still cant believe that we havent had a family Xmas in three years ;) !!

    • Legend. I ended up finding the facebook account of the owner of the first car i sent but sadly he deactivated the account. I think you’re right in saying it’s some sort of well done custom job. Really appreciate your help anyways.
    • Totally equivalent. Stock often goes from the comp cover because that's where the actuator is also installed and the factory needs 2" of hose to make the connection - and it comes as a pre-assembled unit. They totally have a boost reference from somewhere between the turbo and the throttle(s). Oh, jeez. Just do it in M12 then. We don't actually care that much. I would expect any such AN converter fitting to rely on an o-ring or some other seal onto a flat surface under the flange of the hex**, because bolt threads are no intended to provide a pressure seal. unlike..... pipe threads. **which also requires a suitably flat and smooth surface on the turbo's boss to provide the seal.
    • I also used NP   That’s were it’s seems to be the best place to fit it? All schematic shows also that it’s should be referenced from the turbo housing. But idk, I do see high hp cars without any connection or anything to their turbos, so I really don’t know how they connect their things
    • I do have loctite 243 and 246 and a few more models. I could drill it now in place and make new threads for m12 and order an4 - m12 coupling and fit that to the turbo. Run a braided hose to the EBC which I could get a an4 to 1/8npt
    • So M12 and sealant should be fine?    NPT ” because that’s what I had and what I could get atm.
