Item: O.S.Giken TS2BD Twin Plate Clutch and Flywheel assembly ( includes Thrust Bearing and Carrier )

Location: NSW

Item Condition: Very Good ( Read below )

Reason for Selling: Upgraded ( Read Below )

Price and Payment Conditions: SOLD ( $2,280 total replacement cost new ).

Extra Info: OK Here's the lowdown....

I recently rebuilt a spare gearbox for my car and figured since I'm putting a fresh box in, in should put a fresh clutch in ( thinking the TS2BD would be near dead ). As it turned out, it was in really good condition. But I decided to continue with the new unit so this one's for sale.

The condition of everything is very good ( check out the super-high quality pics :O )

The Clutch plates measured up at 2.7mm & 2.8mm thick ( 4mm thick when new ) so there's a fair bit of life left in this assembly. The mid friction plate measures at 4.45mm.

All that's required of you to install is to cut 2.5mm off your Flywheel to Crankshaft bolts and away you go ( same applies for any O.S. Giken clutch ) !!

This assmebly is rated up to 480hp and will suit HR31 ( R31 GTS-T ), HCR32 ( R32 GTS-T ), ECR33 ( R33 GTS-T ) and will suit a stock BNR32 ( R32 GT-R )89-91 ( push type clutch )

Contact Details: PM me if interested. Sydney sale preferred.

After talking to a mate last night, he thinks I should be flexible on the price ( which I guess is fair ) so........I've amended the original post to "ono" ;)

So......would there be any interest if I were to put a set of "brand new" clutch plates in and then offer the lot for $1,500 ?? That's essentially a new O S Giken Twin Plate Clutch for $700 cheaper than brand new.

Just to clarify, this sale ( unlike another advertised O S Giken clutch for sale ) is NOT a scam in any way !! Heaps of people have purchased stuff from me and NOT ONE person has ever been unhappy in any way with anything I've ever sold. If the Trader Rating system was still active you would see the proof. :D

got my mech. diff from Scott about a year ago!

Great bloke, if I needed a clutch I'd buy it

Awesome clutch for that price, someone should snap it up no probs

All PM's replied to.

Just to clarify, This WILL go in an R32 GT-R so long as it has a PUSH type clutch and will suit a GT-R that does not have big mods as it's rated to 480hp ( 350kw ) at the engine.

Also, the clutch has had an easy life ( no drags or burouts ) so the metal friction faces are VERY good !! Would take well to a new set of plates.

And yes I will sell / send interstate if no local buyers come up.

Cheers.

what does new plates cost? or re-lineing the old ones?

does it come with flywheel? if so, is it alloy/billet or lightened or anything?

i'm in need of a new clutch sometime soon, my ceramic button one is starting to slip.

any idea on cost of freight to geelong, Victoria?

The clutch comes with EVERYTHING you need to install. All you have to do is cut 3mm off the length of your flywheel bolts ( as is the case for ALL O.S.Giken clutches ) and bolt it all in. The flywheel is just a part of the genuine O.S.Giken kit so I really can't comment on it as a separate component.

A pair of clutch plates ( NEW ) will cost around $850 or $780 for non-spring dampening plates ( makes it a little less streetable to drive with non-sprung plates ).

Shipping to VIC would prol be around the $50 mark ( guessing ).
