I was stupidly mislead to beleive that when someone sells a VG30 on these forums they are being honest in their sale and they are actually selling what the ad claims to be a VG30 turbo - I had never seen what they look like and so I bought this turbo thinking it was a VG30 it's a Garrett T25 and it's pretty much useless for my RB25.

I only want what I paid for it and I'm willing to cover payment for shipping anywhere in Oz

Willing to swap for a VG30 turbine housing also :P

$100 (including shipping)

its for a VG30 B) - if you weren't so cocky about it maybe i wouldve considered...

Besides, can you stop misleading people about the wrong turbos? I dont think we need that kind of abuse :)

nuR.spec, Mate you should give him his money back...

this sort of behavior really sucks.... I don't know either of you but god for $100 dollars i wouldnt make any enemies.

BTW that turbo is rooted anyways. There is a chip on the compressor fin.

Did you know he was putting it on an RB25? if so, you did the wrong thing.

if you like tell me to f#@k off... I just had to put in my 2c...

CEF11E - I told him it was for an RB25 hi-flow cos i wanted the VG30 turbine housing.

I will admit though he did ask me if thats what I wanted and I didn't care for the fact it was stuffed I only needed the VG30 turbine housing, I didn't know what VG30 was supposed to look like exactly as I never seen one so I said I guess so.

It's like if someone is selling an apple you expect it to be an apple?

Thats if you never seen an apple before...

    • I know people cry at the price of the Getrag 12-14k for a conversion now, but it really is a nice mid point. Not going to get change from 10k on a gearset installed.  $30k++ for sequential.   I know you run the risk of a damaged used one and parts are hard to get but as a street car gearbox its really hard to beat. If you enjoy a more traditional manual, its the choice no question.
