yes same.. I've now heard a couple of bad reports on the BB turbos..

Tell me what actually causes the run out of puff on the std turbos is it the small exhaust ar ???

I don't really want the lag associated with a non bb turbo and well i don't really want to spend 2k+ on a new bb turbo or rebuilt std turbo with a gt25 core in it so....

I still might slap the VG30 BB on as I don't drive on full boost unless some thing worthy harasses me.

If i get troubles, well it will be a bad investment, and will have to live with the lag for a non bb turbo.

joel for what you are looking for I think the rb25 turbo might be better for you than the vg30 and may be get it re done with steel wheels still 180-190 rwkw may be 200 but much more workable as in spooling time. For me I actually prefer a bit of lag I went for a ride in a 180 with a 3037s turbo now that had lag but I would love to own it cause you can drive in peak out traffic and toodle around but when you want boost you just down shift.
