hey guys, I'll try to get the trailer out saturday night =)

i'm working all day tomorrow and going out tomorrow night, but saturday during the day i'm free, so it *could* be out late saturday arvo, fingers crossed

please be patient, as stan said - this is our first attempt, and we're trying to make the best of what we have - we didn't really plan on turning this movie into a DVD in the first place i don't think!

we have some EXCELLENT ideas lined up for the next cruises - and I can 100% guarantee that the dvds will just keep getting better and better as we get more experience at this kind of thing.

so like i said, please bare with us for now - and hopefully our (first) final product will not disappoint! =)

Maybe you pay us to do a special on your car... :D

We'll see how this first project goes, and whether or not the costs involved are offset by the $10 charge. For now, this price is fixed. But later on, and dependent on the quality + response from people - we may be able to market it better and charge a little more.

so where is Menthu?

*taps foot impatiently

calm down sonny! yeah the preview vid is all edited - i just need to put the soundtrack in now... it's in there, it just isn't synced 100% :(

so yeah, preview vid will be up tomorrow arvo :P it's around 3 mins 15 secs long =)

TRAILER WILL BE RELEASED TODAY!!!

All details regarding downloading will be given out when the file has been uploaded - trust me people, I spent all night with Menthu_Rae editing this thing, it looks f**king good! :P

And here's the good part; there are MANY MANY cars in it - a lot more cars than I first thought made the final cut.

The final DVD release at the moment will look like this (unofficial as yet):

1) Full edited run of the whole event...

2) Full North run of the Old Pac

3) Hi-Res slideshow

4) Full South run of the Old Pac

5) Trailer

* All footage on the DVD will be in HI-RES; you will not be disappointed at the quality.

COMMENT:

See how it will pay to float around the L.S.D. Crew from now on... we've got some wicked ideas for the next cruise, just need cooperation from all members to make things happen!

* Cruise Cam (dynamic camera mounted/held in Prelude)

* Chase Cam (fixed camera mounted in R34)

* Owner Interviews (on event, on cars, etc.)

* Machine Features (engines, mods, and overall)

* Sound Offs (exhausts, systems etc.)

* Event Coverage (non car related, but cruise related)

That's right, there will be not 1 but 2 cars for L.S.D. at all attended cruises/events from now on to capture the action from all angles. On top of this there will also be lots of photography going on during stops etc.

Cheers people... hope you enjoy the trailer :( I sure did!

Finally, sorry about the delay - hope you all understand.

    • Or, is it a case of what it is like owning an R series Skyline? NFI what the previous owner has done or fiddled with... Ha ha ha After reading through this thread, I went on a bit of a research about the Q50/Q60. Now I'm quite intrigued by them! Is the AWD in them more like a WRX where it's always AWD, or is it more like the ATTESSA in the GTRs? By the sound of this TCU tuning, this sounds like a case of someone has made some real software for it, and you just need the right piece of hardware, and then you license that specific vehicle/TCU. Or is this a case of the software will be really expensive so only a few tuners have it, and you still have to pay a license per vehicle?
    • By popular demand.. it was a coil. Got my hands on 1 new OEM coil, replaced with the one that made the less noise difference when I unplugged it while the car was running and started the car up. No stutter and the engine light was gone. I guess I’ll buy the other 5 they have lol
    • No, code 21 is very straightforward. It can only be the things described in that diagnostic flow. In fact it has no way of knowing that the spark plug resistance is out of spec.
    • Hi, SteveL Thank you very much for your reply, you seem to be the only person on the net who has come up with a definitive answer for which I am grateful. The "Leak" was more by way of wet bubbles when the pedal was depressed hard by a buddy while trying to gey a decent pedal when bleeding the system having fitted the rebuilt BM50 back in the car, which now makes perfect sense. A bit of a shame having just rebuilt my BM50, I did not touch the proportioning valve side of things, the BM50 was leaking from the primary piston seal and fluid was running down the the Brake booster hence the need to rebuild, I had never noticed any fluid leaking from that hole previously it only started when I refitted it to the car. The brake lines in the photo are "Kunifer" which is a Copper/Nickel alloy brake pipe, but are only the ones I use to bench bleed Master cylinders, they are perfectly legal to use on vehicles here in the UK, however the lines on the car are PVF coated steel. Thanks again for clearing this up for me, a purchase of a new BMC appears to be on the cards, I have been looking at various options in case my BM50 was not repairable and have looked at the HFM BM57 which I understand is manufactured in Australia.
