wow that will look mint once the paper mache on your front bar dries off!

hahaha only kidding you know i love you, nice car btw -

haha, yeah that was my first attempt at fixing fibreglass. glassed a fair bit of the inside to get some sorta shape into the front bar, it was pretty badly smashed up. the bog work down the bottom of the bar hasn't been sanded back yet.

when i bought the car, the previous owner in japan had attempted to fix the bar by using some sort of tape on the inside and some flakey polly filler type stuff on it. it was dodgier than my attempt. most of the screw holes were smashed and the bar doesn't line up properly anyway so it's got that "the owner is a tight-ass" zip-tie look.

might have to buy one of those wonder copies from D1 Garage

well done mate. i post up a pic and specs of my car for other ceffie owners to see, and get called an attention seeker. cheers!

Settle down dude  it was only because there is already a thread for posting up pics and details of ur car. Huddys is a special case because everyone (especially me) was hounding him for pics and details of the car.

Just a joke, as funkymonkey could see :P

hahahaha the grandpa that owned my car in japan reversed into something and they patched the ding up with this white bog....

let's call it "wog" for the time being,

it was only a small ding, but the wog was very ugly

and within two weeks of having my car on a foggy perth evening i reversed into my dad's van in the EXACT same spot....

....it was gay.

    • Hi, I have a r32 gtr transmission. Does any of you guys have an idea how much power it will hold with the billet center plate and stock gearset? At what power level and use did yours brake with or without billet plate? Thanks, Oystein Lovik
    • Saw this replica police car based on a Mitsubishi Starion XX parked next to a 'police box' (it's literally a box) in Hirohata, Himeji City in Hyogo prefecture the other day. It's owned by Morii-san who is a local Mitsubishi Starion enthusiast. According to a local radio station blog post, he always wanted to make a police car himself based on ones he saw in his favourite Manga comics.  As it's illegal to modify a car to look like a police car and drive on the road, Morii-san tried many times to get permission from Aboshi police station headquarters nearby. They refused initially by after they got tired of that they granted him permission. However, the car can only be displayed on private property and obviously can't be registered as long as the police livery is present. The car was completed at a cost of 1.5 million yen (US$ 10,000) in addition to the car cost. A location was chosen outside Hirohata Police box where the car can easily been seen from the street. Morii-san has two other Starion road cars, both widebody GSR-VRs.
    • Ah coolant overflow, previous discussions make way more sense now lol.
    • ok. Yea, then I would need to remove the turbo and weld an adapter on to it instead, if I fuc* this one up.
