Cooler and lines can add 1L or more. Depends on the level of "draining" you do. Some people actually disconnect the lines low, to get more of the old stuff out.

do u fill the oil filter or put any oil on the filter when u put a new one on?
smear some oil on the rubber seal of the filter, then screw it on as tight as you can with your bare hands. if it leaks, tighten a bit more with an oil filter wrench ($10) but it shouldnt have to be very tight

I think Luke meant, do you pre-fill the filter with oil before fitting.

Two hands is too much. Some Loctite anti seize and a good one handed twist should do fine. If it leaks, somthing is wrong. Those wrenchs are considered to be used for removal, not tightening. Snapping the filter thread isnt fun or cheap; iv never had one leak.

I had a GReddy oil relocator fitted to my car last week and with all the extra crap in the gtr we couldnt find anywhere neat to mount it on the strut tower like most people do, we ended up fitted it below the engine right next to the sump drain bolt with a little custom bracket.

I'm glad it ended up this way because their would be nothing worse than having a relocator fitted only to have oil piss all over the place because it is mounted upside down, that kinda defeats the whole purpose of it, if I wanted to make a mess I would have just left it where it is.

The anti drain back valve in most filters stops the mess, but a rag wrapped around the filter <-> boss works well.

Hope that filter doesn't taken a knock from a driveway / ripple strip

thats a good idea benm seen once in a mag, as i do reckn there a bit of an eye sore in the engine bay

I reckon they look shit hot, due to how much easier they allow a change on a GTR ;)
