Sup peoplez,

Took some photos of my HICAS and diff today and have some questions:

1. The hicas setup looks like it sits in the fins of the diff. Would a normal HICAS lock bar fit this ? I had a look at GTRGeoffs thread but his pics look like different HICAS setup. Huddy said he has a lock bar, maybe he could shed some light.

2. I had a look at my diff to see if it was an R200 or the other one (cant remember) and it didnt have either of the silvia bolt patterns, (6 bolts in 3 pairs, or 5 seperate bolts). It looked to me like it only has 4 bolts spaced evenly. Anyone know what kind of diff this is ?

yes GTRGeoffs lock bars do fit fine. i've got one of his on my cefiro, and also used one on my previous r32, they work a treat, don't worry bout the fins, its indented there so no issues with fitting. I think his pics he used on his example was a r33 from memory, hence the difference.

the 4 bolt u see in that last 2 pics are for the tailshaft, u gotta look at the bolts going onto the side of the diff attaching to the drive shafts....i can't remember which is which thou im sure others will recal. hmm maybe 6 bolts paird in 2's is r180 diff and 5 even spaced is r200. i could be wrong.

Ok looks like 3 lots of 2 bolts.

How much was ur lock bar to get fitted skypy12, and where did you get it done ?

first time i did it myself on the r32, was pretty easy job. second time it was easier to get Chasers to do it while the car was there getting other stuff done at same time including a diff swap, so not sure on price as it was a bill including everything in the one price.

btw that appears to be a R180 diff. just double checked -> http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...dpost&p=1484652

hey here's a pic of my lock bar.

and a pic of my driveshaft... i think i was told its r200 housing and it looks like its got the 5 bolts
