things like the Enjo Speed event Series ( which I'm in ) , the sprint days etc , no , all you need is a level 2

If you want to go racing at the monthly meetings at Wanners ie, like the Nightmasters, an observed practise session is reqd.

Not much eh?:P

cheers

Ken

i have the l2s and it allows me into what intend on going in this year. it cost about eighty bucks and took a little over a month to be processed - i think this all depends on your timing.

i'm booked in for a training day this month with MC. is anyone else?

to tell you the truth i'm looking forward to mixing it with the porches and lotus's at future motorkhana events. even though i've barely had the car 3 months now. it should be better than having to drive like a supposed maniac during peak hour each day just to get a bit of enjoyment  and the freakin cops, i swear to go if they pull me over once more for no real reason i'll umm... yeah welll...

atleast you'll have no shortage of members for a wa skyline club. going by the number i see on the road each day anyway... *duck*

seeya.

AW11 , that would be the one on Feb 16th

Was down to instruct but is Dad's 80th and was threatened with death if I missed it.

There good fun and I think you got Kim Screigh and Warwick gates who aren't bad.

You doing MC events or the Speed event series ?

Cheers

( slightly off thread )

Ken

Ok it's late , the post whores are here , gloves off.

How many people on this site are actually serious about competing in CAMS style events , ie Khana , sprint series , lap dashes etc.

Or are you just all crooze and 1/4 mile queens

Cheers

( flame suit on )

Ken

Ahh but you can here the open unlimited speed roads calling

Sitting on 240 kmh , the tanks full and no tina for miles

( oops , got mixed up with Mad Max )

Cheers

( DD is gone )

Ken

Ken,

Well I am definately keen to try some stuff, preferably to build my skill level up before I start racing with other people on the track. I spoke to Osc@r and he said he was keen to get some lessons in driving lines etc, so we could enter some events together.

See'ya:burnout:

Please vote in the poll and ask any questions u may have.

I'll answer them the best i can and please no whoring.

ps: to be feasable we would need 30+ paying members in the first year. This cost would be about $85 per person in the first year and $35 after that.

For 50+ paying members in the first year. This cost would be about $70 per person in the first year and $25 after that.

anything less than 30 paying members isn't financially feasable or worth the time and effort.

Im in for it as long as theres benefits for EVERYONE

whats is $2550 -3550 for first year and 25 after that going to give everyone. apart from cheaper rates at mc or dyno days for the few people that go

id rather see it stay as it is now but with an money raising event such as online store or sumthing i

f its cheap enough people will buy prob get more than 3.5 k a year as well people wont have to pay and people who buy online get cheaper deals what could be better well thats my 2 cents

    • It is a kunfine Android screen . Does anyone know the wirering diagram of the fuga ??
    • just an update to this, poor man pays twice  Tried sanding down the pulleys but it didnt do the trick. Chucked another second hand alternator in the na car which I got for free off my mate and its fixed the squelling. Must have been unlucky with the bearings.    As for my turbo car, I managed to pick up a cwc rb alternator conversion bracket + LS alternator for 250 off marketplace, looked to be in really good nick. Installed it , started the car and its not charging the battery.... ( Im not good with auto elec stuff so im not sure if this was all I needed to do but I verified such by using a multimeter on the battery when the engine was running and I was only getting 12.2v )   I had to modify the earth strap for the new LS alternator , factory earth strap was a 10mm bolt which did not fit the bolt on the LS alternator which was double the size so I cut it off , went to repco bought some ring terminals that fit, crimped it onto the old earth strap and bolted it up to the alternator , started the car and same issue. Ran like shit and was reading 12.2 at the battery.  For a "plug and play" advertised kit thats not very plug and play but alas.  My question is , am I missing something ? Ive been reading that some people recommend upgrading the stock 80 amp alternator fuse to a 140 amp but I dont see how that would stop the alternator charging especially at idle not under load.  Regardless ive pulled it out and am going to get it bench tested by an auto elec tomorrow but it would be handy to know if ive missed something silly or have done something wrong.
    • My wild guess is that you have popped off an intake pipe....check all of the hoses between the turbo and the throttle for splits or loose clamps.
    • Awesome, thanks for sharing!
    • To provide more specific help, more information is needed. What Android screen? What is its wiring diagram? Does the car's wiring have power at any required BAT and ACC wires, and is the loom's earth good?
