DLuded
why not sell them and get a good pair of front splits? the fronts are the most important speakers in a car all the top car audios experts recommend againt 6x9s Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/95573-what-size-amp-do-i-need/#findComment-1730143 Share on other sites

Topaz
An amp to power those 6x9's can be a 50WRMSx2 (or 100Wx2) (RMS=Root Mean Squared, which is usually half the actual output) but it is worth looking into a pair of front splits Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/95573-what-size-amp-do-i-need/#findComment-1730733 Share on other sites
rocketboy
You'll be fine with a something around 100x2 WRMS as above. Be careful when buying as marketing always see's amps advertised as there 'MAX' rating which is useless in the real world, it means nothing but a number on the packet. sMASH
u got 2 6*9's ,,,,use the 6*9's most likely the speakers are 4ohm load ( u can check the box or the back of the speakers) then u'll need an amp that can deliver the rms power at the load of the speakers in question. i.e. the amp must supply 100wrms x2 at 4ohms Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/95573-what-size-amp-do-i-need/#findComment-1746624 Share on other sites
