Looks great Chris.

I agree with everyone else, the Japan pics didn't do it justice at all... I even like the way the wheels look on it, even though I'm not a fan of Chromies on a Jap car (unless they're on a VIP-style car like a Lexus LS400/Toyota Celsior). At least they're still kinda a "racing" style wheel.

Next time it rains, ill try to get some action shots of my Stagea. I wish someone else could learn to slide my car, so I could see it from outside :D

I'll volunteer for that Alex. But only if I use your car, not mine... :D Bring on a wet track or skidpan!

Oh yeah, see if you can get some more pics on a concreted area, it should give you (and us) a better idea of the ride height balance, although in my opinion (so far), it looks to be spot on! :D

That's pretty much exactly how I'd lower my car - just so the guards perfectly outline the curcumference of the wheels and tyres, if you get what I mean.

Yeah, Im pleased with the ride height :) Will take some more pics when I get some time...

Currently getting some quotes for a black respray :) Will let you know how I get on. I attempted to tune the TV yesterday...Went better than expected! Could get sound and a very blury picture, apparently I need an amplified ariel or somethng similar to tune it properly

Hey Guys,

Got the intercooler installed and the boost upped to 10 PSI...

Now, I have promised my mate I would have a run with him once I did those mods, he has an FTO GPX Manual. Capable of 0 - 100 in around 7 Flat. Question is, will the Stagea do 0 - 100 in 7 flat? :D

FTO.....

BAHha HAh HAhHAh AHhAhHAhHA AH HAHHAHHA hAhHAhHAHH AHHAH HAhH AhHAhHAhHAHAH HAhHAhHAHHAHahhHAhHAH AhHAhAHhAHh AhHAh hahHHAhahhaHHAhahHAHAaaaaa!!

Sorry, but FTO that does 0-100 in 7secs is good, but what a girly car to mod, meh each to their own, tee he he he.

Just got home after what you could call a f**king hard run. One problem though, by the end of the drive, the car basically lost all boost :D Can anyone tell me what the problem is? Temp gauge didnt say is was above aveage, but pop the hood and wow! was it hot! Just a problem of temp? Or something more serious?

Ok, here is a test.

Go cain the balls out of the car right, like you did the other night. Then, stick your hand in the intercooler intake hole (if looking front on the car, bottom right corner where fog light would be) and have a feel of the core, at the OUTPUT end. If the core is hot on that end, it was heatsoak.

I can FEEL massive difference on my intercooler intake and exit pipes, like, ones warm to touch, the others chilly to the touch.

But yes, above method.

BTW you could be getting R&R with the car on 10psi. I find my car is faster on 7psi then 10, so 7psi she stays :)

    • Totally equivalent. Stock often goes from the comp cover because that's where the actuator is also installed and the factory needs 2" of hose to make the connection - and it comes as a pre-assembled unit. They totally have a boost reference from somewhere between the turbo and the throttle(s). Oh, jeez. Just do it in M12 then. We don't actually care that much. I would expect any such AN converter fitting to rely on an o-ring or some other seal onto a flat surface under the flange of the hex**, because bolt threads are no intended to provide a pressure seal. unlike..... pipe threads. **which also requires a suitably flat and smooth surface on the turbo's boss to provide the seal.
    • I also used NP   That’s were it’s seems to be the best place to fit it? All schematic shows also that it’s should be referenced from the turbo housing. But idk, I do see high hp cars without any connection or anything to their turbos, so I really don’t know how they connect their things
    • I do have loctite 243 and 246 and a few more models. I could drill it now in place and make new threads for m12 and order an4 - m12 coupling and fit that to the turbo. Run a braided hose to the EBC which I could get a an4 to 1/8npt
    • So M12 and sealant should be fine?    NPT ” because that’s what I had and what I could get atm.
    • Wouldn’t touch par if they gave it to me. You need to ask how much power you’re looking to make and then add about 50% to it because that’s what you’ll end up making  The factory box says no more at about 350kw or so, the upgraded synchro boxes won’t handle much over 500kw for long and at that point you’re looking at an auto or dog engagement manual,  once you’ve gone dog engagement you may as well go sequential, they cost a little bit more but it’s worth it  also while you’re at it you should upgrade the transfer case with 10 friction plates
