Boost Problem

Hi, recently i had a s2 rb25det put into my a31.

It is still hooked up to the standard auto gearbox and still standard fuel pump. Boost will not raise above 4psi (.2-.3bar on the guage) for some reason. I have completely removed the factory boost controller and still 4psi. Wondering if anything else could be causing this?

as i see it, the waste gate is set at 4-5psi. and the ecu tells your factory boost soleniod to raise the boost to 7 psi after 4.5k.

so having the factory boost solenoid disconnected you will never get above 4-5 psi

Forgot to include i also have bleed valve. But still, nothing

is the wastegate arm still attached to the wastegate?

What does that look like mate? The turbo still has that cover on it so its hard to see

does the silicone piping from the intercooler pipe to the bleed vavle have its restrictorin place still??

so another 33 turbo was hooked, didnt no if it was goin to boost or not, so we set the it to around 20Psi and the turbo was demolished.. AHAHHA

so it means nothinng was wrong with the engine, it was the turbo that was playing up.
