Removing Rb20 Issues....

I am currently in the process of removing the dead engine from my R32 gtst with RB20 and I seem to be struggling with undoing the bolt on top of the starter motor. Any ideas how to get this sucker undone? It's up tight and good and won't come undone with the little sockets. Unfortunatley I can't get enough purchase on the bugger to rip him off with the breaker bar.

The only way I can think of is to remove the gearbox and engine mounts and lower the engine and gearbox to get at the bolt? But this seems to be alot of mucking around to get the starter out.

Also does the box have to be ripped out as well and the tailshaft removed?
