  1. yeah. my mechanic supplied me with some generic connectors which are perfect fit on the gtr injectors. Also my rb20 plugs were all rusted inside and green from corrosion! One of them had barely any connection. In order to wire the resistor ballast, i first tried to determine which 1 of the 2 wires to each plug was the voltage (which connects up to the other 2 plugs through the loom) By setting the multimeter to resistance and putting the probe in one of the injector plug and then into the second injector plug you can search until the value on the screen shows 0.8~ This means that there is a resistance because both of them are connected somewhere inside the loom. Hopefully that makes sense, ill try revise it after i get my car running
  2. that would be awesome! Always to my rescue This man also supplied me with direct fitting gtr injector connectors. So instead of chopping the notches off to fit onto rb20 just replace the coroded plugs (couple of mine were green from corrosion and barely had any connection) Thanks everyone for the help! If Matt doesnt come through ill be sure to harass everyone else who posted on here
  3. cheers Nick for the offer, will let you know if i cant find one before then!

Buying one from ebay wont arrive quick enough!! Does anyone have a turbotech bleedvalve or spring/ball I can borrow/buy? Need one desperately before Wednesday night!!!1 Please contact me via PM, reply in thread or sms (O4O1352296) Thank you very much!! Patrick
  5. My suspension shop recommended the Pedders extreme adjustable coilovers for $1600. Anyone have any experience in these? Suspension shop claim they as good as teins (which they also sell, but are too expensive) http://www.pedders.com.au/products/52/140 Cheers

    Hey Everyone

r32 gtst (1991-1993) are P-Plate legal as they are just on the 125kw/tonne limit. Although you need to know your weight's and power ratings or the cops will just dick you. Had to talk my self out of a couple high powered vehicle fines, but once i show them the facts they say its okay. Couldnt have picked a better car to get
  7. yeah im trying to get around hacking away at the injectors Also my old connectors seemed to be quite brittle and coroded so wouldnt mind some new connectors. I ended up getting some aftermarket injector connectors which have the little inside notch. So all i need to cut off is the outside notch i believe. Will update once i fit them on.
  8. From my balcony at Ferntree Gully. Burwood hwy and ferntree gully rd is a standstill. Trying to get to dandenong but all my routes are blocked haha
  9. Decided to try and put in the injectors this weekend. Some tips for people doing it in the future. - Much easier to install injectors if manifold is pulled off. - No need to pull off throttle body, leave it attached to manifold and just remove the cross over pipe etc - There is 12 bolts holding the manifold, 6 you can see easily near the strut tower, the other 6 are deeper under the manifold. - Manifold gasket will rip when removing manifold, and will need to scrub it off (took me 30-40mins with a razor blade) - With manifold pulled off, easier to remove the fuel rail and old injectors. - 3 injector connectors are on main loom and another 3 are on a smaller loom connected by a plug to the main loom. - GTR injectors wont fit onto the rb20 injector connector's because the gtr injectors have 2 extra plastic notches. - Can either trim off the notches or order GTR injector connectors from Nissan (As you wil be cutting the power wire from each connector to wire in resistor ballast, may as well just wire up new gtr connectors) Here's a picture of what im up to haha Will update later with resistor ballast wiring. Cheers
  10. why do i have a feeling these connectors will cost me $21000
  11. Hey, In the middle of installing GTR injectors into my r32 rb20det. Only con is that the rb20 injector connector is slightly different. The GTR injector has 2 clips which dont match up with the rb20det connector. Options are either to cut them off the injector or replace the rb20 connectors with GTR connectors. I was wondering if anyone in Victoria had 6 GTR injector connectors? If I can get them off you tonight/sunday morning It will help me greatly! Please let me know if you have a set for sale! Else, if i dont get a response ill have to hack up the gtr injectors Thanks

  13. yeah thats what i was thinking of doing however sydneykid never posted up what type of bilsteins he supplied.. thanks for that Shan, I'll send you a PM once i get some part numbers
  14. oo interesting, thanks for that. Im also getting Traction Tyres (victorian suspension shop) to come up with a package with bilsteins and whiteline/kingsprings. I'll post up the info once i get it.
  15. awesome thanks for that, you're a legend!
  16. awesome thanks for that. Didnt know how to get the full part number which step 9 showed me
  17. interesting, could you explain why you voting for the open face? cheers all for response. Will most likely get an open face helmet. The only open-faced helmets at bike shops are $100, and there isnt anything above. Rest are all full-faced.. Tried one of those full face flip-up's which convert to openface, but they feel very top heavy when its opened hehe
  18. my budget is around the $1400 mark, Ive heard the australian teins are like $2000+ which is a bit outside my range. Would anyone know which model bilsteins sydneykid sold? I could try and chase up another supplier of the same/similar shocks...
  19. Tried to get in touch with Sydneykid by calling their company Superior Suspension only to be told they've been liquidated and moved on So im guessing my options of getting sydneykid's suspension package is nil and time to look for alternatives... After an australian designed suspension around the $1300. Currently have kyb shocks with hks springs from Japan and the ride is too rough for daily driving. Would prefer a setup suited for the australian roads and for track (just like sydneykid's setup ) Anyone know any shockabsorber/spring combo or coilover setup which is similar in handling and comfort? Tired of the jap-spec suspension and want something more durable Thanks
  20. Hey all, Going to start tracking my car and Im after a helmet. I was wondering what is the most preferred helmet... Open face or Full face? Full face seems quite restricted in air flow, as it covers your face and being in a car you dont have wind passing over the helmet..although it looks better and the stig has one! Open face is much easier to put on (especially with my glasses) but its hard to find one which doesnt look suited for a scooter What would be the best design for a trackday helmet Thanks Patrick

  23. nando's will win the vote easliy because everyone has tried it as its practicaly everywhere. Oporto only has 2-3 shops in Victoria and a lot havent tried it yet. Oporto is cheaper than nando's and you at least get more in the burger than nando's. Which is a piece of chicken, some lettuce and $15 kthnxbye Grill'd is the winner for me. A big juicy burger with plenty of condiments and quite a thick piece of beef to fill you up. All for $11-$15 Same price as a nando's chicken-lettuce burger with a hell of lot more feed in it.
