I think the reason people do runners is cause the cop may have not seen their rego. If an idiot is doing 120kph+ and sees a cop going the other way, he isnt going to pull over and wait for the cop to do a u-turn and catch up. He will most likely keep going/go faster because it will take a while for the cop to do a ubolt and catch up...

Im sus about pre-programmed chips from ebay/trademe...majority of them just copy one person's custom tune and spam it out as a generic map for anyone who buys. We all know every car is different so how could one generic tune work for all... Save your money and get a proper ecu remap with either nistune ( www.nistune.com ) or contact CEF11E ( http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/CEF11E-m12633.html ) who programs ecu chips. Both options will provide you a more reliable tune as opposed to plugging in some 18psi unknown chip... TV repair shops will charge about $50 to replace the chip if they have a desolder station.

Graph looks pretty normal to me Car looks pretty rich to me and seeing as you running standard ecu it seems fine. Air:fuel ratio going down to 10afr. When car's are tuned they usually sit dead straight on 11.5-12.5afr (depending on how lean you want the tune to be) Have a look on the stickie rb20 turbo upgrades ( http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Rb...no-t103095.html ) to compare dyno runs.

Ive heard they are not good, cause they are basically a plate which causes a restriction of flow. Give it a bit when its closed and it might cause some harm due to all the back pressure. Xforce have a varex muffler which diverts the exhaust gasses through another chamber which makes it quieter. http://xforce.com.au/cars/view_car/29 but then you'll need to chop off your old muffler...

good luck taking off your seatbelt (which will either be stuck from the load or falling onto your head) or opening the door. Only thing you could do in this situation is wait for rescue to show up and have easy access to the fire extinguisher. As i explained above, its a 5minute job to mount fire extinguisher under the driver seat which is a much safer option.

Get a peice of metal, drill holes on each end and mount it to the bolts holding the seat rail. Then attach the fire exting bracket to the metal. and done

Dont bother with the ac diag checkup, that is always hopeless in finding a problem. I had problem with hot/cold actuator and AC diag said it was fine. My friend had a similar problem where it was stuck on feet. He replaced the mode door actuator and is all good now.

i reckon turbo with new red p-plater laws will be asking for trouble. As law says no turbo period. The old laws worked off p/w restrictions and had no demerit points if caught. I believe the new penalties are demerits+fine up to $1000 Ive been driving my r32 gtst for 3yrs on my P-Plates but as many have mentioned its on the limit of 125kw/tonne and I try to stay away from any hotspots for cops. Never had any troubles but ive never had a cop tailing me to spot the p-plate in time. My opinion, if you are on red p-plates with no turbo law, id pass on getting a skyline. You could always get a stagea or similar uncommon turbo car, that should fly under the radar for majority of cops...

who cares how it looks like, its not a beauty contest. It's one of the better ways to have a catchcan setup for the rb20. Im sure you can colour-match the hoses to your neons so stress less /joke
