  1. CP Flat Top here too on an RB26 head, it's around 8.2:1 if my math is right. It's not bad off boost.
  2. Haha now you tell me! j/k I'll do some research.
  3. So I have an RB26/30, it was like 30 degrees C outside and I went for a couple of high boost runs. I noticed my car was leaking when I parked and I could actually smell the oil. The oil catch got full and started leaking out. I've emptied the oil and am closely monitoring it now. Any idea what might cause this? Cheers, Sam
  4. What power goals are you after. I'm personally looking into a Precision 6262 or a 6266 for my RB30. Nice spool and hp!
  5. This has got to be the cleanest 95 vehicle I have ever seen or heard of. Wow!
  6. Keep us posted on your dyno figures mate. What engine are you mating the 6262 to? And what turbine housing will you be running? Cheers,
  7. I've finally got rid of my OEM 3.3:1 diff and replaced it with a 4.08 diff. Car feels a lot lighter! Here's a recent video I recorded:
  8. Thanks for your feedback Donut_king! It looks like I'll be going with a 6266. The 6466 seems like it would require a lot of boost to come alive and that is no fun mated when it comes to pump gas.
  9. I'm still debating whether to go with 6262, 6266 or 6466 as I'm planning to run this on 98 octane pump gas no more. I was told by a vendor the spool difference between a 6266 and a 6466 is almost negligible.
  10. That's good to hear! What's the maximum psi you plan on running on pump gas with that 6466? Also, can you please do me a personal favor and measure the exterior diameter/width of your housings? I'm just worried I may not be able to fit it in my engine bay as my current setup is already a tight fit. Here's what my engine bay looks like:
  11. Drove on these for a few months, they're working great so far! Small problem though, they starve like crazy! If the tank is anywhere less than 80% full I have to be very conservative with my throttle input. Forget applying any throttle on right handers. Can one run in-tank pumps externally? Or will they over heat? I'm seriously considering a surge tank setup now.
  12. If you got the block open you should go Forged man!
  13. That was my initial plan too with my RB30 build. Picked up a short block that was advertised to be in great condition. Ran a compression test on it, checked oil pressures everything came out great. Put a 3k rev limit on the ECU and broke it in for 1000 kms. Strapped it on a dyno, pushed it to 5k rpm and the bearings took a dump and jammed the engine. Had to be towed off the dyno back to the shop. After almost 3 months building and anticipation, it just plain sucked. Really don't wish it upon anyone. We had to take everything apart and redo the whole thing again. Would've been a lot cheaper (and faster) for me to do it right from the beginning and go with Forgies, Race Bearings and a Billet Oil Pump.. lesson learnt for sure. I know many of course that just slapped a stock one and had zero issues.
  14. Boom! Fits like a glove You're the man Hanaldo! Thanks again mate.
  15. @Colt: You're talking about Cooper, I've been following his build closely and he's got the fastest V36 1/4mile time on the planet. Such a beast. I can assure you though his build cost way more than $20k. My goals were not to make the most power the cheapest way, I would've gone with a 2JZ swap if I wanted that I wanted to sell my G37 to get an R34 but G37s here have poor resale value. So I figured I may as well build a different sort of skyline.
  16. Look what just showed up, along with a few other parts. Thanks a lot for your help Hanaldo!
  17. Seriously? That's the first negative thing I hear about them. Can you shed more light on this please?
  18. Yup, right when my 245's died I went with 255/40. I liked the way they looked to be honest, throw some H&R wheel spacers in while you're at it.
  19. You will love the Nitto Invo's! Their square shaped profile will also protect your alloys shall you decide to kiss the pavement one day haha
