  1. ^^but still right on the money. Cars are already way overtaxed. Its weird how in a country with such poor public transport and very little alternative options to a car that car owners are taxed and harrassed so much.
  2. man the way you guys are pushing kyoto so much it makes me want to go back for the 9th -10th time and try and see what Ive missed everytime Ive been there so far LOL maybe Im just not the temple/wabi sabi/touristy kinda guy? the place reminds me of Adelaide. Except replace the churches with temples (although I dont remember having to pay to get into any church in Adelaide). Everything seems to be 2 stories tall and its boring as hell

Had to sign up to get the info... Import Monsters fee – Minimum 2500yen, then 25% of the purchase price up to a maximum of 25000yen. So even if you bid 500000yen, the maximum fee you will pay is 25000yen its good... if you dont like money! LOL I guess they have a lot of ppl to pay so that kind of operation would cost a lot to run, not hard to undercut them by a fair margin though.
  4. Well unlike nengun I can buy the part and send it to you in japan while you are here? that will lower international shipping costs... will be a pain lugging around a turbo though. anyway if you dont have my email its [email protected] mail me if you want to hook something up.
  5. Feel free to plug me any time Richard I can often undercut nenguns prices and also am able to set up a system so you wont cop import tax. not to mention my response speed is several light years ahead of nengun.

and visa versa... not sure how the language barrier is going to work though.
  7. yeah my play car is a little bit too far from stock. I have no mufflers, just straight pipes with a silencer vice gripped in each tail pipe. car is literally 15mm off the ground and is not really drivable on the road. Should get word tomorrow as to what he thinks he can do. I hope its just a paper shaken as a proper one is probably going to cost more than 140k as there are too many items that are going to have to be swapped out.
  8. Well its off getting looked at now. The guy I gave it to said a `paper shaken` might be easier after he saw how many bits wouldnt pass LOL. I dont really care as long as when the cops run the plates it comes up ok. Paper shaken may be 120k, have to see what he says first as apparently they are clamping down on dodgey inspections in Osaka lately. Been pretty busy with exporting although with the AUD taking a massive drop its starting to make everything look pretty shadey as to whether I can pay or not elrodeo666 - can you do dodgey shaken your self or do you mean present the vehicle your self? if I were to present it I would need A LOT of stock items LOL. Apparently list of stock parts that need to be changed over for me to pass would be. headlights front knuckles shocks wheels bonnet muffler windscreen washer and a couple of things pulled out like tie rod spacers and maybe rack boots fitted etc. none of which I have lying around.
  9. Yes but it still costs 140k yen
  10. I dont want to think about this. My shaken ran out yesterday... I hate shaken, any body who has seen my car would understand
  11. I wanted to see how much they charged so I could shoot them down... been thinking of a business name though. I kinda like that one now that you mention it. j-buttmonkeys LOL
  12. If you are going to spam shouldnt you atleast spam with a link that works? LOL

that and when the retarded AUD does shit like this it sure doesnt help either... http://au.finance.yahoo.com/currency/conve...;amt=1&t=5d LOL at the current rate being well off the bottom of the graph! still if you do some research and make some contacts you can see how much margin rinkya, nengun and greenline have and can undercut them.

  15. Your right, I must be misinterpreting what you are saying. This thread is about Nova and possibly about other eikaiwas... not sure how we got off on this tangent. If you arent associating bad behaviour or lack of respect with teachers from eikaiwas, I apologise, youve lost me LOL
  16. so any work I do doesnt count and any work you do does?? or are you saying I have to put hours in at the community centre for me to be able to say Im worthy of staying in Japan? Not sure if this is directed at me or at anyone working at an eikaiwa. I think Ive been here a fair few more years than you and Ive seen my fair share or JETs etc acting like complete tools aswell. So enough of the gross generalisations/implications already. thanks for the tip, living in an area made up of mainly 50-70 year olds the Americans leveling the whole place in WWII does a lot more for my `reputation` than a few drunk morons though. not sure what you are talking about here. I rarely drink and am actually a very reserved person. If the Japanese are so shocked by my behaviour word must have traveled far as Im in Osaka not Tokyo LOL although Im starting to understand why some ppl who havent met you might not hold you in very high regard.
  17. Exactly, its something I do every day. Shoot me an email at [email protected] and I can give you a rough quote to your door.
  18. Maybe Im just reading it the wrong way but it really sounds like you are implying anyone working for nova doesnt know how to teach and should leave. Its a little bit too derogatory for someone who admits the main reason they arent working for an eikaiwa is that they were in the right place at the right time If this isnt what you meant then apologies, pompous pricks working in a job with better perks, more pay and then go on to pay out others less fortunate than them selves are one of my pet hates.

    Yahoo Japan

It has always been a monthly based fee. About a year ago or so they introduced a campaign where it was free to make an account (with no monthly fees) and in July they changed the rights of the `free` users to a limit of 4,999yen bids. So it depends when you signed up as Yahoo always have campaigns coming and going. Usually its a 294yen (~$3 AUD) a month fee to be a premium(non restricted) user.
  20. I have a number of students with kei cars I want to buy off them. Most of their cars are over 10 years old with less than 10k kms!!! alot of ppl dont drive in Japan. When you see the parking fees, the train passes that are paid for by work and the traffic. It all starts to make sense. That said though Odometres are wound back, but remember Japan isnt Australia where you have massively long roads with no traffic or signals and you dont have to pay any tolls to sit on 100kph all day long and when you get to where you are going you dont have to pay through the nose for parking My silvia has done less than 500km in the last 6 months , that would only be 15,000kms over 15 years with that average!!
  21. LOL at parents... "its really hard... just getting by day to day" "Yushi sends about $10,000 USD to his parents every month"

    Osaka Automesse

I hate to always come across as negative. but this years automesse was the worst yet. I spent roughly 15mins there, lucky for free tickets. On a positive note, the kebabs for 500yen were nice.
  23. agreed, drift cars are burnout machines and the drivers cant steer for shit!
  24. I live about 15 minutes away from zenitani. I also ship alot of parts back. if you want to talk more mail me on [email protected]
