  1. seeming as there were 400 they arent THAT rare then, also they are pretty scratched already so it wont matter when I do things like this...
  2. just wondering if any of you skyline gurus out there could tell me if the r34 gtr wheels come in more than the one dark grey color from factory. Ive just aquired a pair of r34 GTR wheels that are a lighter grey (similar to the r33 gtr wheel color) it looks too good to be done aftermarket as the match on the centre caps is perfect aswell as the paint around the wheel nuts etc. Anyway not that important but was just interested to know.
  3. Thats something I do. email me on [email protected] as I dont often log in here.

    Japan Trip!

Nanko isnt that bad, I still head out there around 3 times a week... saturdays are probably the worst day to go.
  5. Where in Japan are you going?
  6. send me an email at [email protected] and I can give you some quotes.
  7. let me know when you are here and want to go out. Im usually out trying to destroy my car
  8. Hrrrrm Akemi isnt bad when it comes to cars and Ive been screwing around with cars for more than 12 years and even been a mechanic for a couple. I had no idea what an "extension front pipe" was, in Japan its called an "outlet pipe". Im not impressed at all, infact Im quite surprised at how bad they are... starts to make alot of shonky Australian garages look good! LOL
  9. Well when my misses phoned them perhaps she just gota really bad salesman THREE times. first time was when he wanted the cars serial numbers... fair enough I spose but still pretty homo if you both know what car, engine and turbo you are talking about. second time he reffered to the outlet pipe gasket (dump pipe) as a "turbo and extension front pipe" gasket when Akemi didnt know what he was talking about he got all sh!tty... who the f#ck makes up their own names for parts?? third time when we finally figured out WTF he was talking about he rudely requested a fax! guess if you arent buying a million dollar turbo kit off them they dont care that much. sorry but HKS... FAIL
  10. I bought a couple more... PM Gojira or reply if you are interested. EDIT: WHOOPS... GoJiRa here not Streeter... but using my mate's computer (sorry)
  11. Yeah Im here. In Osaka. been here for 2.5 years working with Nova. Hate them but 20 hour weeks with Sat,Sun off with an hourly rate that is just too good to leave (considering I usually only work 2.5-3 hours of my 4 hour shift LOL) although Im starting to look for other work now. I dont know how long Ill be here. I really need to learn Japanese and find real work. Although Australia isnt looking very promising for me so I may be here for a long time, then again I might go postal and head home sooner than expected. I came because I like to drift. So I got a car as soon as I got here and that is what I have been doing since. Drifting makes me happy.

    Jobs In Japan?

yes, as in she could be 30 and is treated like a 13 year old by her folks and whats worse she will accept it and get pissed off if you dont. as for LBH... I feel like I was semi respectable back home with too many freinds to know what to do with, well paying job/career and always atleast 1 chick around. over here Im always reminded of how crap my Japanese is by other gaigin that love studying, Im still a part time Nova teacher, and constantly low on cash LOL am I a LIJ (loser in Japan)?? LOL
  13. Well if drift007 is certain and I have funkey as a back up if it doesnt come in under max size then Im willing to get seats if anyone is keen. just let me know I agree with funkey, the whole reason you would bother importing is to get it cheaper in which case Id recommend going the other way and undervaluing it to lower/dodge tax and hoping that it isnt damaged in transit.
  14. drift007 reckons a reclined recaro is under the 3 metre limit so therefore can be sent but only via air as the dimensions are too big for sea. Bit of a shame as sea is roughly half the price. Also he mentioned that it only makes it under if the packing is done with bubble wrap which I think is a little risky given my experience with post LOL Trouble will be if another type of seat is just over the maximum and then Im stuck with it here.
  15. yeah 20kg max for both... the r34 cat back is going to have to go in 2 pieces and weight is roughly 7-8kg for each piece. has to go via air though as the pieces are longer than 105cm :pinch: Ill go to Automesse if I score free tickets otherwise cant really be bothered but I think L is going.
  16. Yeah ok... deal is air IS 3 metres with a max length of 1.5metres and they stuffed up. The reason for the mistake is that sea is 2 metres with a max length of 1.05 metres... they got confused and said that was the max limit for both currently struggling to get an exhaust system for an R34 under max size... I HATE large packages :pinch:
  17. ok will go and have arguments with the post office tmrw... will let you know how I go LOL
  18. you mean under 2 metres?? 3 metres is the limit for EMS but the limit to Aus is 2 metres.... unless the two post offices I go to are both retarded. drift007 - were you sending these seats to Australia?
  19. I must be measuring it incorrectly or need to fold it a certain way. Ive sent over 300 packages to Aus now. Im pretty sure Ive got the formula right. Ive had the post office call me a number of times about packages being over sized and they were alot smaller than a seat too. with the spoiler if the other dimensions are small enough it will be ok. eg very thin and not very thick (front to back) a seat is pretty chunky in all directions though. If you guys can let me know how you are doing it Im all ears as it means more export opportunities
  20. remember australia gets stooged with its max sizes though. 2m total not 3m and 20kg not 30kg. My mate has a recaro reclinable in his room... no matter how I measure it, its always just over max size which is 3m (this is unpacked and not inluding seat rail) let alone the smaller aus max size which is 2m... drift007 - did you dismantle the seat or am I missing something?
  21. its all good, Im just being soppy cause Im getting very little business lately.
  22. looking at that guys fees minimum fee is 2000 yen which quickly jumps up once the item is over 10k yen... you are paying for a middle man there plus you need to leave a deposit. I buy and send the item before asking for cash. bleh ppl wanna pay more go right ahead.
  23. Yeah that is around the fee I ask and the reason is that if you run purely off a % you end up buying cup holders, magazines etc and spending ages organising stuff for $10... not really worth it That said though if you are getting a few models off the same person/shop I might be able to do them at the same time and charge less commission. Anyway no middle man here
