Well I put around 300km on the motor, honestly not sure of km performed in previous car. The donor car itself had 127k on the clock, and the engine had been transplanted into it probably at around 80,000km at a guess after seeing the donor car. No internal damage as far as I know, haven't done a compression test. It went hard in my mates car, went hard in mine, and that was good enough for me.

redevil - yes, it says twice in the description of the turbo that it bolts to the factory manifold. Paradis - It worked fine for me. Didn't shudder or anything. Bought a lot of gear from a mates car to put in mine, this was one of the pieces. No idea how/when it lost that chunk. walkoua - cool, let me know how you go, would be good to find out either way. =)

here you go mate. this is one of them, the other isnt quite as bad but gives you an idea. injector should still be fine just needs new plastic bit.

I've got 6 but 2 had the ends damaged by my helper when we pulled the fuel rail. Can supply pics if you want. Injector shop could probably sort them out. It's just the plastic cover on the spray end that got scratched up.

Sold. 5. 12mm Billet alloy wheel spacers. These were made for me by a Cobra builder on the gold coast as part of a custom brake setup. They have 2 extra holes where countersunk allen bolts sit to actually bolt the spacer to the wheel. 2 small threads were tapped into my alloys, and the lips were used to locate the spacers perfectly. Very light. They basically become part of your wheel. Cost $$$ to have made. Machine the lips if they are in the way, and they will fit anything. $150 Please reply here with questions etc. slip.

You can compare motors all day, but you have to come back to reality as well. Even if the 2J is a better thing if you just want to slap a big single on there with minimal internal prep - is it worth going through the hassle of putting one in a skyline? Probably not. But that depends on the level of the build, the budget, and time available. LS1+TT R34 drift car that has been built was a full house thing, whereas most of the time the $$ used for a conversion like that would be better spent on current equipment/support systems etc. 2J's aren't cheap either. You need to look at all the factors in a situation like this.

I wouldnt expect an NA 33 to spin the wheels during in gear acceleration (straight line). Unless its wet, in 1st or 2nd. They are not a fast/powerful car. A commodore/falcon has more power. Maybe you are just getting used to it. Fuel filter, air filter, check for flow through the cat (may be blocked) or any exhaust/intake restrictions. AFM clean also.

Im amazed you are even considering 329's after having 326 and know how incredibly shit they are. Seems very strange. Pick a budget and shop around, falkens arent the only tyre that exists, and spending more on a set of tires is worth it. why have a performance car with mods and shit tyres.....

I removed the airbox lid on my car. (cut it all away except for the outer rim that holds filter on) Then I mounted it vertically behind the headlight. Then ran a duct from front bar up behind headlight. Never suffered in heat, always wanted to suck cool air. Pretty easy to do.

geez simon you go through cars like I go through undies. why the constant change? nice style, congrats. tried to get any sponsorship? I pulled all the QLD sponsorship for SAU together when we started, it was pretty easy with some salestalk.

Just a little note: I've had offers from 2 or 3 people now to buy their complete set of cams. I only need the exhaust side, and selling the exhaust side is better than selling nothing at all. No point in me buying something I don't need

check all the intake piping. theres been a few instances of people finding rags etc in their piping. a cam could have skipped a tooth. timing could be wrongly set up and massively retarded?
