  1. +1 on fuel filter
  2. The Royal Purple oil is a full synthetic oil whereas your Motul turbolight is only a blended semi synthetic. I guess it's what you like to use so best to stick with it. Tests against other oils have shown a 5hp gain by using Royal Purple against other high end oils.
  3. You can run either. The side feed ones go straight in. Top feed ones will need to have a rail to go with. They come with spacers etc to fit them. Just make sure you check with your injector supplier to make sure you get the right equipment. I assume you are asking because you want to use your side feed ones?
  4. Larry is always happy mate. I assume a wheelie was on the cards? I've always wanted to ride bikes but I'm too dangerous in a car so I think it would be a bad idea.
  5. Not only that but if you were to upgrade even further, the plenum would/could be an even greater asset. If you love your 20 and want to mod it, do it. I was told to not bother also when I was doing mine but I persisted with it and ended up enjoying the car even more because it could still dust a 600cc motorcycle. Do what you love, stick with what you got.
  6. Now now, no need to be mean to the ugly kids!
  7. You could have saved up some more money and bought a half decent car instead of that POS R31 too. There is nothing wrong with RB20's you can still make 300rwkw quite easily and they rev a lot harder than 25's and 26's. I'm sick of hearing everyone talk them down. It's an RB and a damn fine creation.
  8. That would only ever happen to you wouldn't it. Yes it will effect it if there is a restriction. Get you exhaust fixed so there is no restriction. 3" exhaust is enough to supply 600hp.
  9. Neutral start switch will stop cranking. His cranks...doesn't fire
  10. If you are local to brisbane, I have an ignition system tester that can fire an injector at 90% duty for as long as we have it connected. We can run a solution through it to try an free it up. Other than that, try swapping the injectors around to see if they move. You could also pull the dizzy out and turn it round with the ign on and see which ones are working/not. But I wouldn't advise this unless you know what you are doing as you may not put it back properly and it will not start again. Go forth and conquer!
  11. Refer to replies on NS.com
  12. jks...couldn't help myself
  13. You're probably right. BTW, Great drifting Beau! Pity the car you're in looks shit
  14. It's a rip off til the $5 bolt you bought instead breaks.
  15. And also, the Z32 will support air flow up to around 55-60lb/min. So if you're making that kind of power, I would suggest changing to the new VIPEC ECU or a MOTEC/AUTRONIC/HALTECH and stop mucking around with a system that is not going to get you anywhere
  16. How much HP are you making?
  17. mis-alignment That is all.
  18. Good stuff. And yeah, what Wazz said...what fuel pump/s are you using? If the pump is good and the tune is good then there will be only a few possibilities. Be sure to take high res photos of the rings if you can too. Also, of the pistons skirts and crown...top as well. Pretty much every angle. With the Neo, what piston to bore clearance did you use and who does your engineering work? What ring end gap was used? Have you used the same engineer to do all the machining work for all of these engines?
  19. There is no such thing as a ready tuned ECU. Every engine is different, stock or not. Exactly. It's more like NS.com here all the time....'Hey I have a hole, can anyone tell me what went wrong? I don't have pictures and I don't list the entire mod list' Yeah sure, we'll all have a GUESS. First, get pictures....Second, list ALL mods not matter how insignificant, Third...we give you some proper answers that actually mean something other than 'It could be this, or it could be that' That is true but also know that it will only usually tell you what happened in the five minutes leading up to the removal of it. If it went idle for a couple of minutes it will taint the results. But yeah, still a good idea to check them.
  20. Pictures? When you ask a question like that, you need pictures...very high detail close up pictures....that way I/we could identify the type of failure, Any reason for going for 88mm pistons?
  21. Swivel head ratchet ring spanner is your friend
  22. Sorry Mark, you beat me to it
  23. You can remove the back plate and screw it in it's place. Then the computer mounts to the original mounting points.
  24. I can weld Titanium but I don't know why you'd bother with a system like that Josh. Titanium does not last very long at all. Yes it is light but only because it is spun so thin. Extremely short service life
